Another hint would be to think into which fraternity recently got into serious trouble with the university.

At any given time in a semester, there is probably about 5 fraternities that are in "serious trouble" with the university. I seriously doubt that a fraternity would be enacting revenge on a star RB regardless of how much shite they are in with LSU. I would think they would take their anger out on the Greek Board and the Assistant Dean.

I just find all this hysteria over a couple of college kids getting into a bar fight pretty damn hypocritical.

Who didn't get into fights at that age if there was an ounce of testosterone pumping through your blood alcohol mix that shite was inevitable.

But what kind of puss calls the cops over it? Man up, you got your arse kicked. boo hoo

I agree, dude needs to retain his manhood and drop the charges.

No sense in getting your arse beat then crying about it knowing you started it.

Probably because JHill is a beast on the field, and most everyone wants him on the field for the 2013 campaign

What's he supposed to do let the little fig win the fight?

When your professional future and probably the only way you will ever make meaningfully more than the minimum wage depend upon it, you walk away. Later on, when you have enough money to buy the other guy 100 times over, you can figure out if you want to get even. But letting the little twirp rob you of a potentially fantastic future by appealing to your prehistoric instincts is what is stupid.

No, you are stupid. It's not about the Bill of Rights. It's about being careful with what is valuable to you, and understanding that you put it at risk (and for what?) by leaving the judgment as to whether you are innocent to someone else.

Really, well there doesnt seem to be much other than the original story by the advocate. I hope Hill gets cleared. I don't think he's a bad kid. I always heard JJ was a douche prior to his deal. Doesnt mean Hill is an nice guy.

Hill needs to find an attorney with a lot of political connections with the District Attorney's office and work a deal that might extend his probation for an additional year at the worst.

If your attorney has no connections or is disliked by the DA or the district judges, you are in deep dodo--no matter if you are innocent or guilty in this incident.

In our criminal justice system, you pay the attorney for his political connections in this situation.

Some are, some aren't. I guess it's just a fact of life that the group who have no self-restraint (or lack the intelligence to understand how important self-restraint is) and the group who play elite-level college football have a pretty large overlap.

I'd bet Nathan Fisher is in on this as we speak.
