Is it just me or does Jim Hawthorne sound like he's coming through some crappy, low-grade cell phone?

Yeah, it's terrible. It sounds like a high school broadcast 
Pathetic, because in my neck of the woods, Ole Miss and Miss. State games come in crystal clear, while LSU sounds muffled as hell no matter what

I think some of the pre game is on cell phone, then they go from the booth mic and processing.

Na. listened to the LSU feed two weeks ago then the Miss. State broadcast of the LSU game and it was night and day.
