So the stat sheet says Sol Graves is greater than Jeff Wickersham. Ok that says all you need to know about stats. Nice work though very well done.

This is great stuff... Shows how numbers put Jordan J even with one Bert Jones and shows Jamie Howard as... Wait... Auburn guy just intercepted what I was going to say about Howard...

You're a crack baby.
It's beyond your realm of comprehension.
Don't argue with it, just accept it.

You got to add Woodley and Ensminger together because they were one QB!

If that is how you want to look at it, so be it. It is pretty damn stupid with the progression of offense though.

Bert Jones:
1972 - 1st in SEC in Passing Efficiency, Total Yards, Total TDs, Completion %, Passing Yards, Yards Per Attempt, Passing Touchdowns.

He finished 10th in the SEC in rushinng TDs.

1971 - 3rd in SEC in Completions and Yards; 5th in Passing TDs; 8th in Total Yards; 7th in TDs

Bert Jones

Tommy Hodson:
1986 - 1st in completions, 2nd in completion %, 1st in Passing Yards, 3rd in YPA, 1st in Passing TDs, 1st in passing efficiency, 2nd in total yards, 1st in total TDs.
--5th in NCAA Passing Efficiency, 7th in TDs

1987 - 2nd in completions, 2nd in completion %, 1st in passing yards, 2nd in Passing TDs, 3rd in Passing Efficiency, 2nd in Total Yards, 3rd in Total Touchdowns
--8th in NCAA Passing Efficiency

1988 - 5th in Completions, 5th in %, 4th in Passing Yards, 5th in YPA, 1st in TDs, 4th in Passing Efficiency, 4th in Total Yards, 4th in Total TDs

1989 - 2nd in completions, 4th in %, 1st in Passing Yards, 1st in YPA, 1st in TDs, 1st in Passing Efficiency, 1st in Total Yards, 1st in Total Tds
--4th in NCAA in Passing TDs; 10th in efficiency, 8th in Total TDs

Hodson

Jordan Jefferson:
2009 - 2nd in completion %, 10th in passing yards, 8th in YPA, 8th in passing TDs, 6th in Passing Efficiency, 10th in Total Yards, 9th in total TDs.

2010 - 10th in Completion %, 10th in Total Yards

LINK

So you can say Jefferson was better, but you'd be wrong.

I was in that end zone....I kept saying just run the ball.

Unbelievable.....

We were in control of that game. I will say it was the loudest stadium I have been in and that includes the "Earthquake Game".

I didn't think it was possible.

You actually took the time, and it looks like a good deal of time, to argue that Bert Jones and Tommy Hodson were better than Jordan Jefferson.

No fricking shite.

I'll alert the media, and Michael Bonnette will be having a presser at noon.

I don't have any cookies or trophies for your groundbreaking investigative skills, but if you can wait until Bonnette's press conference, I'll bake some for you. Vanilla Wafers?

No really.

So if your TEAM wins a national championship that automatically means the qb is the best in school history despite stats?? So the 58 qb and Mauck is 2nd and 3rd?? That logic is terrible. Flynn was an average qb at LSU. Look at the post where every qb at LSU since 1970 and their stats. Flynn is in the middle of the road. I love Flynn for the 07 ship but the rants obsession with him even being in the top 5 of LSU QB'S is simple ridiculous.

Perception is everything. By the numbers, JJ was a better QB than Steve Ensminger. But, from a fan perspective, Ensminger was a tough, talented kid with the teams best interest in mind. He bled purple and gold.

JJ seemed to be about JJ, always looking for someone else to blame his errors on.

Ensminger, Rohan, Bert Jones, Carl Otis, Hodson, Jamarcus, etc. were all likeable kids. JJ is not. The end result is that these guys hold a cool place in Tiger football history, while most are just glad JJ is gone, no matter what the stats show.

5 minutes is a great deal of time? Didn't you put together the OP?

Context is important. I guess the fact that I was responding to someone went over your head. Let me help you out with that post:

The post was more about the evolution of offenses between then and now and the greatness of the two Tigers.

Way to be a condescending prick though. Tell me more about your understanding of fallacies again. That thread was a good laugh.

Very nice!

Rohan Davey was one of my favorites to watch.

Highest Yards per attempt.

I'd have liked to see him do better in the pros.

The time it took to put together the OP was time well spent. The OP has value and is informative.

Any time spent to show that Bert Jones and Tommy Hodson were better QBs than Jordan Jefferson is time wasted in vain.

I enjoyed the hell out of it. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you learned something about fallacies.

You looked like an idiot, but I trust you won't repeat your mistakes.

So does this confirm that Josh Booty sucked once and for all? Hodson was a little overrated and Herb was unappreciated.

Ryan Perrilloux could have been the best that ever was at LSU. Too bad he didn't chose the thug life, the Thug life chose him.
