byrd says To be honest, if I was in the stands, I probably would have left too. It was cold, the team looked like they were about to get murdered. I probably would have left, too

For the people that complained for everyone leaving

Byrd looked like he wanted to leave the field. I'm not sure he's a very good example to make your point.

keep trying to justify your actions. it would be a not issue if the fans didn't also leave early during EVERY other game when the weather was beautiful even when LSU was winning.

Can Byrd's season get any worse?

Byrd has really been displaying a piss poor attitude the last few weeks and his performance has matched it.

Maybe not, but technically, he's still correct.

You're quickly becoming one of the worst posters on the rant. Just so you know...if you're shooting for that, you're doing a good job.

I think byrd has done fairly well, comparable to last year even. Even though he has a mistake prone freshman qb throwing the rock.

Hmmm..

Here is something to think about.

Byrd was one of the top rated senior receivers in college football coming into the season.

You don't think his lack of production and sideline/locker room demeanor may have knocked him down a couple of notches in an NFL scouts eyes?

Oh and BTW, Byrd is senior, so I would think it is slightly more important for him to have a productive year in regard to his future ..other than a freshman...

NOOOOO. Bryd is having a horrible year because....... lets think about that. One of the best receivers in the country, and is doing below average why could this be. OH WAIT WE HAVE A HORRIBLE QUARTERBACK. That is just a thought

isn't it odd that Lafell is third in the SEC in receiving....

Lafell has become his primary receiver (his first read) and never looks away from that. With a good QB lafell would be number 1 and byrd number 2

It doesn;t seem to affect Lafell that much.

You pick the one player who said that to base your thread on, You must watch CNN 24 hours a day, read the rest, the fans actions hurt most of the players and they clearly state how much they need our support. Bunch of A-holes quit go wear another teams colors, and quit associating yourselves with LSU before U scare off recruits.
