yeah... of those 4 guys temple is the least likely to ever show his face in the nba.
more likely than Taz IMO, and maybe Johnson.
he could be a specialist like Bowen
not likely but i dont think any of those guys are really great prospects. Thornton can prob play in the league though

we have all been waiting like 3 years for garrett to develop a consistent three point shot
but one of the things im excited to see this season is how he operates under trent's system. its going to be more up and down, and the "halfcourt" sets are actually going to be halfcourt sets, not weave or flex or GT standing there with 4 guys idle waiting for him to pass the ball. one thing i have always liked is that he can really attack the goal, it just seems like he never got the freedom to do so under brady. once butch became coach stuff started to open up a bit more for everyone. maybe he finally makes some strides in his offensive game this year, i'd love to see him do well. collis III played with detroit in the summer league so i know garrett will have an opportunity. i'd l ike to see all the seniors, especially GT and CJ who have been here since day 1, all go out the right way

there's a pretty good chance that things look a lot different this season than they did in year's past. The wildcard will obviously be with the frontcourt, which means that everyone is going to have to help out big time on the glass and defending the post. That's how you'll know how good of a job Johnson is doing--by how well he gets these guys to play together like a team on both ends of the floor.

LSU just beat Auburn.
This stuff is totally unimportant.

Wow SEC hoops doesn't have much star power, I don't know anything about the LSU guys either.
Ogilvy is legit, Patterson I like but I bet they say he's on the small side, Tyler Smith is the best player on the list IMO, Calathes I don't know much about except he's tall, white and can shoot, and Varnado will not get drafted. Varnado's 6'9", plays C in college, and has absolutely zero offensive game.
Hopefully Ronald Steele really is 100% like he says.

Dorsey measured like 6'6" at the NBA draft camp

Gotta link? Come on he's gotta be bigger than that. He was the 3rd pick in the 2nd round, he can't be 6'6".

Cool site man, I'm assuming these are official numbers? I stand corrected. Why the frick would anyone take Dorsey with the 3rd pick in the 2nd round?
Mayo, Rose and Gordon all have 40" verticals? That's not even fair.

Ok I'm still not sold after watching him play but I think he doesn't come out after next year. I'd like to see the official height of JV. 6'9", doesn't have a NBA body and is an offensive liability.

i know varnado was something like 3 or 4 assists or steals away from a quadruple double against us last year at home
eta- he should get drafted

Wiki says he played in Greece last year. Looking at the numbers, he doesn't suck over there.
FIBA profile
Man I was so shocked when this guy didn't even get drafted. I never thought Matt Walsh would get picked, but I was surprised about Winston. Just another guy that shoulda come back for his senior year. I was hoping Hendrix would come back too, oh well.
