LSU currently has 52 players in the NFL. If you took this group, what do you think that their record would be this year? Who would be your starting 22?

LSU accounts for 52 current players in the NFL. That's tied for third most of any school in the country. Other top teams are UGa (49), tOSU (50), Texas (52), USC (58), and Miami (60).

ETA: So to answer Captain Crown's question, the top 5, in order, are: Miami, USC, LSU, Texas, and tOSU.

S: Clark
S: Landry

PR: Peterson
KR: Holliday
P: Jones
PK: ???

I like Hester over Quinn Johnson at FB for his versatility. Ridley over Addai just based on age. Have to bring back Robert Royal from free agency at TE, as Peterson isn't really a viable option. LaFell would be a good 4th WR, just not as productive as the others. Wouldn't get much pass rush from the DE, might have to play a 3-4 with Spears/Williams/RJF, but then you have to bring in Jacob Cutrera as the other OLB. Would like to fit Dorsey in but it's tough since he's out of position and hasn't been overly productive.

That's a sick secondary. And there would be some serious talent on the bench too. DBU!

pretty much proves that LSU is as talented, overall, as any team in the country. miami, with 60 players in the nfl sure seems to underachieve these days. coaching, player development and other factors (team balance, etc) sure are important.

Between Clark and Landry, they'd probably lead the league in concussions caused, as well.
