Doesn't get nearly the blame it deserves. These last two years I have seen zero leadership, terrible blocking, & crappy pass protection. The difference is these guys (except for TBob) are massive but seem to lack the speed to protect off the edge. We are morphing into a Big10 OL. Big and Slow!

I have watched nearly every game at least twice and on sacks and tackles for losses, all you see if you watch close enough that our OLine is getting shredded.

People are blaming guys like Shep, Ridley, and QB's for getting blown up behind the line of scrimmage or fans bitch about it being a bad play call. Meanwhile the play never got to the point of what was actually supposed to be executed.

I'm not sure what needs to be done to light a fire under those big arses but while you are wanting to get rid of Crowton, please send Coach Stud with him.

There has been ZERO offensive line talent in the State the past three years with the exception of Faulk. There are finally some studs this year.

Plus add in the fact that JJ has zero pocket awareness...let me ask you this, if your Studrawa and the OLine coach here at LSU, who are you begging to have start at QB ? 2007 and even 2008 the OLine was very good.

Losing McCoy and Jones are not helping matters, not to mention your starting RG goes down in the first game.

I agree totally with you points... have said this for the last two years... it all starts up front... lack of quick feet, upper body strength, speed, inability to maintain blocks have caused problems, and failure to create a pocket for the passer have caused, in my opinion, some of our offensive woes

Are y'all shitting me ? What you think the guys on the other side are just there for a free education. This is the SEC ! This is big Time Football ! Everyones got Studs...Dareus, Fairly and Nevis are the 3 best interior D Lineman in the country. That's in one conference, that's in one division.

Inability to create a pocket ? Lee had a nice little pocket on that 4th and 14 vs UT, Did you see the blocking when JJ just air mailed Rueben on the first INT vs Auburn on the opening drive ?

Think about how well the OLine is supposed to block if JJ is throwing a deep ball. Between that wind up of his, and the time it takes for him to actually process when to throw the ball...

This excuse makes no sense. LSU can recruit anywhere they want to.

Boy you have zero since of reality don't you.

Please go back and look at our NC teams. Let ms know of all the players you find not from Louisiana...I'll tell ya, there either from Southeast Texas, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. And we lost our Florida connection in 2006.

I think I'm right on this. 18 of 22 starters in 2003 from Louisiana.

Lol. Sorry. But come on. We don't recruit nationally. We have to choose our time wisely on where we spend our recruiting efforts. Thank God Peveto is gone, dude would hover around Georgia insanely and only Sheppard and Riley are the only two good ones he ever got one from Georgia.

Look at what happened with the kid from Cali last year. He was all committed to LSU then went and spent a week in San Antonio for the HS all star game and that made him realize that Baton Rouge was just to far

it is play calling. there are times when a draw would do this team a lot of good, but we run those short passes. not really screens though. why not a screen pass or 2? when you can't get vertical, peolpe will stack the box and out number your O Line. Most of that is play calling and lack of QB development. The receivers own some of it as well for not running precise routes. Please look at all of our 1st round receivers and tell me why they struggle for several years unless they are a 2 or 3 and have other great receivers on the team? Ask D Bowe? He is FINALLY starting to catch consistently, but people in KC are ready to string him up! They lack discipline in route running. Josh reed was probably the best route runner we had on our team in the last 20 years.

No shite ? So your saying as soon as we hired Billy G in 2010 we got 3 commitments from the state of Florida ?

But I say we list our Florida connection in 2006 Jimbo. And from then on the signings in Florida were few and far between ?

Yet you put huh
