That's all fine and good. Now, what are we going to do about our impatient, dufus fanbase? How long will it take to fill Tiger Stadium? How are we going to keep them from bashing the team? And what about the Rant?? What are we going to do about those entitled tards?

He did bring us 2019, but I don't think he understood that people were laughing at him, not with him.
Yep, and with the DC hire he had to settle on after '19, it should have proved to literally everyone including Orgeron himself, that no established coach with a serious, modern reputation wanted to come work at a Top 10 national program under Ed Orgeron.
Bo Pelini. Fricking Bo Pelini was the best he could come up with. It was a disaster from the announcement of the hire and other than Orgeron and a few of his yes-men, everyone knew exactly how bad it was going to be.
I remember the sunshine pumpers here spewing out all the "oh, Pelini gonna bring back a national champion defense like he had here before", and just thinking to myself:

but I was always having to explain why Miles, Orgeron, or Manieri made some bone headed decision.
Because no other coach at any other school in any other sport ever made a bone headed decision?
Why did you feel that you had to explain these decisions?
Because YOU have never made a bone headed decision?

I'm not saying our coaches won't make head scratching decisions, but I can guarantee that we'll never hear BK utter the phrase..."I didn't interview him".
What if they make head scratching attempts at a Southern accent? Will you feel the need to explain that?
At any rate, I'm happy that all of you perfect types now have a safe space to clutch your pearls and don't have decisions, accents, heritage, etc. to embarrass you in front of your equally perfect friends.

Honestly I think this is partly why the media hates Kelly to LSU so much, this is gone now
They will have to find a new whipping boy.

PM was the most frustrating, to me. I’m excited for baseball for the first time in a decade.
Les Miles for me. I could hardly watch games. It was absolutely painful.

I gave up on Les Miles after 1-9-12.

No doubt. I'm expecting the next few years to be bumpy. I'm not expecting a smooth transition. Think about how daunting a task it is to change the entire culture of a program. He has to find the right coaches. He has to find the right players. He has to develop relationships and trust from scratch. That will take time and a lot of work.
We've gone 11-11 in the past two seasons, so a smooth transition isn't even a concern. Doesn't seem like it could possibly be any worse than these past two seasons have been. I agree there will be growing pains and some folks should temper expectations though. BK is gonna turn this thing around, but it will take time.
