The thing that stood out most to me rewatching that game, was that the strength and conditioning program must have been outstanding back then.

As great as that was watching again, I did get a chuckle at how they just ended the broadcast after the pile at home plate.

The SECN allocated three hours for the game. They were up against the hour and had to cut to another event.
