quote:I think that's the issue. The co-defensive coordinators is not working. I think he should interview and hire a top defensive coordinator. The qb position will be much better next year. No one could have expected Lee would be such a head case. If he had been just ok, we would have won two more games.
Miles won with better coordinators. He still has one good one. Get the other one, play an experienced QB and things get alot rosier.
On the other hand, we saw one LSU coach stick with Lou Tepper, who was an absolute disaster, due to loyalty. It cost him his job. I really think Coach Miles is far more likely to make needed changes.

Didn't Fla. go 8-4 last season after BCSNC.

Miles is too stubborn to make the changes. You watch.

9-3 in the regular season; they lost the bowl game.
LSU will probably end with the same record as Florida last year, though.
My question is, though: Why does that matter at all? Florida's record last year didn't impact their success this year at all -- their discovery of how to utilize Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps did that, and they recruited those two this year, so if you want to draw parallels, you'll have to wait for Russell Shepard and hope two more speedsters show up on campus next year.
