why not sell the medical students tickets. those bitches never, NEVER put a fricking person in any of those seats under the east side of the north endzone scoreboard
For the 85th time, those are not the Med/Law school tickets...

What about not letting any student upgrade or sell their ticket? I saw far too many students selling their tickets for profit this year. A lot of seniors and juniors buy tickets just to sell them. I'm sure there were a lot of students this year who would have gone to the games if they had a chance to get tickets.

I got the same engineering degree as you and i still know who the players are.

I think you miss understood me that is the same point I was tring to make. Just meant that the new smarter students didnt know jack about football.
So because you know shite about football, are you claiming that you're an idiot?
I don't think this has anything to do with student section attendance. Look at Duke and Cameron Indoor.
My biggest reasoning behind it all has to do with the spoiled nature of this student body. Not one person legally sitting in the student section was here before the 2003 MNC.
Quite the spoiled bunch, espcially the 2008 freshmen class.

I agree the Ole Miss game was just a horrible atmosphere all together for Troy to have been so fun even despite no one being there. I had the most fun all season at that game. Alabama was a close second, but they were fun for different reasons ...
But for people to show up at that game in all areas, not excited, for pregame to suck that bad, I was ashamed, no wonder we got beaten, no one was excited for that game, well not enough of us to matter anyways ...
I get that the students can just go buy the GA tickets, I do, but I don't think it should have to be that way ...

2003 UGA game student section was the best SS experience in my life. What a day.

colorado, you need to start scanning tickets as they LEAVE the stadium for the points to get bowl tickets anything before 5 min left in the 4th quarter = not counted
This would be ideal. It would take a long arse time to get out of the stadium though.
So much has changed since I started in 2002(graduated in 2006). I had no problem getting tickets as a freshman and they were only $50. We had the same tickets as the season ticket holders, no shitty printouts and you could give it to whoever you wanted to and use any id. They also had a good bit of student guest season tickets(now only available to spouses) that my friends from other schools would buy. They're making too many changes. If their sole purpose of the existing system is to keep track of points and make sure actual students are in the student section, why don't they just put your tickets allotment on you student ID? They scan them anyway, and the marketplace could work the same way, just transfer the ticket to somebody else's account.

I was one of those new smarter students less than a year ago. I don't know every player or every stat, but I know who most of them are and some stats. I'm sorry that my engineering degree took so much time that I didn't get to memorize everything from lsusports.net. How exactly would you define "jack"? Apparently you failed english, anyway.
Since when is intelligence linked with lack of knowledge, anyway?

I know all the starters and the backups, but even the coaches do not know every kid's name, number and position by memory.

Since the other guy said that's what he believed. Read back a few pages.

Not really. There were still unused tickets to the UF game last year.

But did anyone complain about taking away tickets this spring?

There weren't any tickets taken away this spring. And yes there was because everyone assumed the band move would mean less tickets. Which it didn't.
This happened two years ago too when Ole Miss student tickets were sold below the scoreboard.

The Law/Med/Dental School tickets are in sections 223-225 and are considered reserved section tickets (higher price). The section is usually packed (by students, spouses, or general admission students who sneak over to escape the overcrowding that occurs in section 226), except towards the end of the season, since finals usually start earlier for the professional students.
