From what I hear -second hand info-
Freeman got the exact contract he wanted from LSU last night. It was agreed upon as long as ND wouldnt match. He talked to Kelly and ND couldn’t come close to matching.
He was in process of letting Cinci know he chose LSU.
ND called and matched offer. LSU couldn’t offer enough to make it worth it because he has said this was a 1-2 year deal only.
There are 2 back ups already in place and will be interviewed over the weekend.
