Bobby Moore is only a figment of our imagination.

LSU Hoops
Ask Bruce Pearl

Our previous coach was 2=1 againt Bruce Pearl.
Bruce Pearl has one SEC title in three years.
Bruce Pearl has beaten one team from a major conference in the NCAA touney in his three years at Tennessee.
Bruce Pearl inherited a veteran and talented team with future SEC player of the year Chris Lofton.
The wheels are starting to come off of the Bruce Pearl express.

Nah, better ask someone else.

A poster on another board kept constantly saying LSU needed to hire a Bruce Pearl type. His argument was we needed a P.R. savvy type who had an up-tempo style to get the interest back.

I'd rather have solid hoops than gimmicks. I can't say Trent was my first choice but I like most everything I see.

I know Pearl had some lower level success, but he has baggage and I think he's a bit gimmicky in the Hal Mumme, Texas Tech football coach type mold.

Plus ripping his shirt off like O and stuff. Man I just don't know how genuine all that stuff is. Never did like the guy. And he looks like Dinardo.

So?

And plenty of excitement, wins as opposed to losses, and tourney appearances.

Any last place finishes? Running players off?

Jerry Green turned the corner at TN and won 90 games. He is the reason TN was back on the map...and also underachieving. Green had as much/more talent than Pearl and did much less. At least Pearl has a title.

Hmm...10-4 against a very tough schedule isn't coming off. With freshmen like Hopson and Tatum, I see nothing of the like. He also has Chism and B. Williams for likely another year. Tennessee will be better than you think.

Ok. Ask Mark Few.

Now there is a coach who is a true coach and not a media hog glory seeker, unlike Bruce Pearl

He also beat Bruce earlier.

Now, I ask you...is the water just that much better in California? Why the Zags and not us?

He actually beat Pearl twice this year.

I think Few and Gonzaga is the perfect fit and I think he knows that. Too many times these coaches leave these good gigs at mid to lower level schools for that brass ring and it just isn't a good fit.

Happens again and again. I think Few gets that.

Uh, Gonzaga is in Spokane. Perhaps you were thinking about Moraga (home of the St. Mary Gaels) - which is in the East Bay? St. Mary's is also in the WCC along with Gonzaga.

Right but aren't most of their talent from CA?

A quick check of their roster reveals that only one of their players is from California, with the rest from all over the West. Few is an Oregon native, probably wants to be a lifetime Northwesterner (just a guess). Would be a good get of any program, IMO.
