LSU hoops is a sad state of affairs

Watching UK vs Louisville and the great players on both teams is impressive. LSU should have comparable talent. It appears that Trent cant pull in top talent. NIT first round loss in his 4th year is under-achieving. Why hasn't he been fired?

You are talking about two potentially top 5 coaches currently in CBB.
..and two historical great CBB powers.
LSU hasn't been a consistent CBB power (If I can call it that) in 20 years.

Exactly. Now we just settle for being the 10th best team in the SEC. Sadly, that is one spot up from last year.

there were a couple of brief periods in time...and there probably will be again. LSU gets that ultra-talented player or two every 7-8 years and has a nice run. But year in and year out it is not going to be a premier program, it just doesn't have the support. Imagine turning the OP around and being a Kentucky fan saying the same thing while watching the LSU-Bama football game.

Who cares? It's all about the golf team baby. When basketball is good people care, but when it's bad they just talk about recruiting and the upcoming football season. That's how it seems.

Why because I spoke the truth? Go look at the stands during games for all the proof you need. If you were as die hard as you and some others claim to be about basketball the you would fill the seats win or lose like Kentucky and other great basketball schools do.
