Eh, decline may not be right, but stagnation probably is. The program is stagnant, because the offense is broken, and has been for a while. It's stagnant at a high level, but it's not getting any better and that means a couple of losses every year and a lot of talk about what could have been.

And if it stays like this long enough it will decline because recruiting will drop off, attendance will drop off, and league will change and improve around LSU while LSU stays still.

If a coach came in and guaranteed that he would win you exactly 11 games every year, would you take that? Would you accept being very good all the time if it meant never being excellent?

Miles who rode the coatails of punt returns and a Claiborne kick return at WVU.

LSU was up 27-21 at the end of the 3rd quarter when Claiborne returned that kick. It was big in getting momentum back, but it's pretty dishonest to act like that was the only reason we won that game. Oh yeah, we went on to score 2 more TDs in the 4th quarter to win by almost 30.

And yeah, TMs punt return against Arkansas took away any fight they had, but that only tied the game at 14 after we had just got a TD 2 minutes before that really gave us momentum. We scored another TD 2 minutes later and never looked back winning by over 3 TDs again.

I'll give you the UGA game, but saying Miles rode to wins in the WV or Ark games on the coattails of returns is just stupid or dishonest or both.

Not gonna happen with a FR QB. However, I do admire the heck out of Kelly. Wish he was in Baton Rouge.

George, that's only because we've been out-coached and have played teams with more discipline.

Anyone could do a better job. Les has more to do with losses than he does with wins.

This is a program on the decline. It's very clear we have a good coach but not an elite coach ...
