Guys, we have an outstanding top 3 recruiting class coming in for next season, and rumor has it most of them will be making it to campus. Still, Bianco will be at second and Thompson at SS most likely. Go check out the LSU Recruiting board and find the thread for the baseball team.

Travinsky is an offensive catcher. Dude has ridiculous power. His defense is on the weaker side, although average IMO. Shows you know nothing about this LSU team, or baseball.

Leto will probably make it to campus but will never sniff SS, 2B or 3B. He’s a really bad defender which is why he went from a #1 prospect to outside the top 200

Struck out 40% of his AB’s. If he kept that up, his BA was going to be hovering the Mendoza line.

He can, he actually has a pretty good arm. He also played pretty good defense most of the season. Although it has seemed to tail off the last few weeks. Another left side guy wouldn’t hurt though. Depends on what doughty does I guess

Buy what? That the fact that he is a terrible defender doesn’t make him a candidate to play certain positions? I said nothing about his ability to hit.

I’m not ready to say he’s a terrible defender. I’ve seen clips of him and he seems to have soft enough hands and be light on his feet.
You may be right and he can’t do it at the SEC level but to say “he’s terrible” and can’t play defense. I don’t buy that part. He’s been a projected high draft pick for a long time.
