Ohio State has been left out of the playoffs two years in a row. Trust me, I've heard every conspiracy theory. This is all child's play compared to what Ohio State fans came up with.

The OP has a great point but I fear with the protection we have seen of OSU the last 2 weeks you may be correct.
They could justify UGA at 4 easily with a close win by claiming psuedo home game and their loss to USCe was by far worse.

They lost to a team ranked 7 spots below them. Michigan lost to a team 12 spots above them. The team that is expected to lose (by a good margin) is going to drop less than the team that is much higher ranked. It's common sense. Auburn scored more points against Alabama than they did against their three previous opponents. Alabama was exposaed for the second time this season so they dropped out of the top 10.
It's pretty easy to see if you take off your SEC SEC SEC glasses.

Yeah, that was a true freshman quarterback for Auburn who barely completed 50% of his passes too.
I think the committee wanted to see how Alabama performed without Tua before moving them back. The committee takes injuries into account.

Yup. Nobody in the top 3 wants to play Clemson. And it's got to be tortuous for so many in the committee to think about the horror of their precious Buckeyes getting crushed in the semi final game. I believe the coaches and Associated Press poll results are more accurate LSU has the most impressive record.

The committee doesn't care about Ohio State. Only 2 out of 12 members have any kind of affiliation with the B1G. I think for some fans it's just hard to realize that some people may think another team is better than your favorite team.
