I haven't been able to watch Bama much this year. Anyone that has been able to check them out a bit able to give me an idea of their o-line this year compared to years past? I know that there running game has been unstoppable so far, but it seems to me that has more to do with what Hurts adds to the running game than how dominant their oline is (per what I've seen some Bama fans say on here).

That's not the problem. The problem is their front 7 vs our O line. It's gonna be a bloodbath.

The question is will Danny have any time on pass protection.

Rashard Lawrence is every bit as good as Davon was and Devin white is every it as good as Beckwith. Our ? Mark is at rover linebacker. It's finding someone that can play like Duke a missle with reckless aggression.

Or will he finally release the ball before eclipsing the 4 second mark?

They're good but no way in hell is it as good as last years front 7.
This years bama squad has not been tested.Canada outcoached Dabo with less talent and he could do the same.Saban is the best but he's not unbeatable.

If Etling doesn’t have time against Troy then something tells me that you already know the answer to that

Yeah, I think Bama could sack DE during a timeout.

Our o-line is going to be a victim on the First 48 Tuscaloosa edition.

Donte Jackson will fill that role nicely. He's playing well at nickel. We need a big game from Donnie Alexander and/or Taylor. They will need to spy jalen. I don't want Devin spying him because we need him to stop those powerful backs in Harris and Scarborough. Hopefully we can force hurts to throw a lot from 2n3 and long.

with Lawrence and Alexander back and the improvement of both Gilmore and Herron I think we'll hold our own. that doesn't mean we'll shut them out for 3 quarters like last year but I think we'll be the best they've faced so far.

since their qb isn't that good of a passer I think our D will play good enough to win the game just as they did last year. the problem, of course, is that our Offense may not score a point again. imo, we will need to score more than 17 points to win and I just don't see that happening unless the defense and special teams score.

Our O-Line has improved greatly. It helps that Canada's style is starting to slow down the rush. Their D-Line is not as good as it's been the last few years but it's every bit as good or better than we've seen all year. We just have to win 1 play at a time.

Their O-Line is solid again. Our D-Line should do well against them, though. The thing that makes them hard to contain is Hurts' ability to take off. We just have to confuse him with where the blitz comes from and hopefully force him to make dumb plays. Still, the absolute key is limiting their RBs to make Hurts beat you.

The difference is Canada had a very good and veteran OL at Pitt last year. We need to create some mis-matches and have 2 or 3 big plays that result in TD'S not just large chunks of yards. We will not drive the field with our offense.

Their Oline is probly better than last years we need our Offense to make first downs and keep our d fresh to have a chance.
