Any official word on how well Tiger fans traveled to Austin? I heard Tiger fans bought up 30k tickets but it didn’t look like that many on TV.

hard to tell really. the upper deck had a bunch of us, but down lower didn't have that many. it was nothing like Georgia in TS last year, that's for sure.

It didn't look like 30k. Probably would have been if people were actually selling tickets other than singles for $500.

I would say that they were sprinkled throughout. Definitely not 30K. Maybe 10K. Plenty outside the stadium and in Austin in general.

I was there. I would estimate 15,000 in the stadium. Another 30,000 outside tailgating.

Definitely 30K out in Austin. The Friday night before I thought I was in Baton Rouge

Tiger fans were even at restaurants, pizza brew pubs, and bars waaay south of downtown Austin on Friday night and Saturday lunch. On game day, downtown Austin looked as much purple as it was burnt orange!

Everybody knows that the only reason UGA had such a visible presence in Tiger Stadium last season was because a shite ton of LSU "fans" sold their tickets. Either very few UT fans were willing to do the same, or if they did, they sold them to other Texas fans rather than to LSU fans. I don't recall if tickets for the LSU/UGA on the secondary market were going for the crazy high prices that this game was. Also, y'all have to remember that this was the biggest Texas home game in over a decade. We get a home date with the #1 team in the country every other year.

We traveled well. There were at least 30K LSU fans in town and there would've been a lot more inside the stadium if tickets weren't so ridiculously expensive. Texas will no doubt bring a ton of fans to Baton Rouge next season. If you don't want half the stadium to be burnt orange, don't sell them your tickets. Sell them to other LSU fans if you can't go to the game.
