You guys are over reacting. LSU just went 13-1 and had one hell of a season. There are many teams that would give anything to be in the spot LSU was in. Things will pick up and get better.

Look at us for example. Alabama has a pretty recent loss to LA Tech and also a shitty loss to Utah in the Sugar Bowl. These all suck worse than a loss to the Number 2 team in the BCSNC.

These coaches are all human. They make mistakes. It's easy for us all to second guess them when we arent all under the same pressure they are under.

Hold your heads up, guys. LSU WILL be a factor for next year's BCSNC race and just finished a hell of a season this year.

True dat. Saban was spot on and y'all played an almost perfect game last night. It wouldn't have taken a super effort to beat Bama last night and we certainly didn't do that.

Teams lose the National Championship every year. You guys even lost in (seemingly) the National title before.

It's better to go and have lost than to never make it at all. I garuntee if we had not made it, fans would be screaming about what kept us from it.

Most are sour about how the game went and our seemingly awful performance, and that is understandable, but eventually we as a fanbase are going to need to look forward. I think with the benefit of hindsight we can look back and see that we never truly had a legitimate QB who could beat an elite defense. Any other year, we win the national championship, you guys just happened to be built to stop us.

If Miles will play this like Saban did when we lost to Florida in the SEC Championship game, this could be a huge motivation factor. Especially for the returning players.

Sometimes a loss can be the best thing to happen to a team. I know you guys probably dont believe that now but you all may be thankful next year when they are playing lights out with one goal on the brain.

Everything that our "fans" are doing right now is the reason I always say I love lsu but I hate our fans. It's absolutely embarrassing. I've never seen so many whiney pricks. It's a game, we lost, bama was the better team and now we have nothing but threads about how bad our players and coaches are. It only takes 1 loss for our fans to turn on great kids like jj and shep then we get a thread about someone wanting our coach to leave. It really is ridiculous

The true colors of LSU fans came out on Monday night. It was pathetic, both at the game and after the game, including social media.

It was a disgrace.

Yeah, I figured the non SEC suck job would kick into high gear this off season. Hopefully which ever team gets them if they don't shite the bed, will leave no damn doubt in Miami!

I feel the same way about 92 yards of offense in the biggest game in school history with 37 days to prepare.

I'd say 2003 was a bigger deal.

I guess that gives everyone the right to constantly bash and threaten a 22 year old and want to fire a championship coach who went 13-1 this year right?

Our playing was absolutely embarrassing

When you dominate a tough schedule as we did on the way to the NC and then disappoint thousands like that, it gives us the right to complain.

It's a National Championship game, not just some game like the regular season, we are not going to get to play Bama for a 2/3 series for the Crystal. The players and coaching were both horrendous and there's no denying it.

I don't recall Shep being in the NC for more than 3 plays, he should've also been the QB this whole time btw. JJ was a bad player and bad leader. Even after the game, his post-game comments makes it seems as if he takes no responsibility for what happened out there. He claims to have made "great" decisions when he did the complete opposite.

Face it, we all have reasons to be pissed off. We came all this way to watch our team play like shite in the biggest game of them all and the worse part is, it's to Bama, a hated rival. We have to live with this embarrassment forever...

It's never right to bash and threaten any kid that plays for LSU.

I will bash the absolute shite out of Miles however until he removes himself completely from offensive game planning. Recruit, and manage the program. That's it.

We are spoiled. Spoiled rotten.

We don't deserve anything. Hopefully this loss will bring our fanbase down to earth a little bit.

But who am I kidding?

Spoiled? We did so much this year! This was our year! Is it wrong that after the victories to end the season that we expected the Crystal? We deserved a much better performance from the "#1" team in the country. With that much time to prepare, there was a lack of discipline and much planning on our part. We have a right to complain. I legitimately feel like Les gave up and for a coach in the NC, that's unacceptable. This embarrassment is stuck with us forever.

Honestly (and many might not agree) but I feel like LSU was a year ahead of schedule with our BCS appearance.

I feel like one obvious reason we're picked to take it all next year is because our team will be led by ONE competent, decent, qb. (And hopefully an offensive coordinator to boot.)

Yes. There are times in the past when 13-1 seemed like a delusional dream.
