The difference between Bama's wins of 2013 and 2012. 2013 Bama's opponent was out matched by talent. 2012 Bama's opponent was out coached on offense.

Well, Notre Dame actually scored some points whereas LSU would have probably done better just punting on first down every series.

At least Notre Dame fans can say they kept it even in the second half. LSU only put up 92 yards of offense the entire game. It's hard to imagine a more embarrassing performance in a championship game than that one, though I guess Notre Dame gave them some competition.

Agreed, but the egg laid by Notre Dame cracked much harder and faster. At least there was the sense last year that the LSU defense may come through with a play to turn the game around and put them right back in it only down one score. ND was done as soon as Lacy crossed the goal line for the first TD.

I remember bama posters stating they were still worried at 15-0, expecting our coaching staff on offense to do something and make a change so we could score.

So we aren't as predictable as most seem to think. Good job Les, you fooled us again

I didn't like it either. It took bama 60 minutes to score 21 on us, not 1 qtr. No comparison at all!

Musberger is one of the worst announcers of all time, especially when he was making comments about ajm's mom and girlfriend.

They both got dominated. I am more embarassed for LSU than ND b/c 2011 LSU was better than 2012 ND. LSU laid an egg. People expected Bama to destroy ND.

the announcers made me wince more than once comparing lsu's performance last year with ND's.

Musberger - in the 1st quarter -"LSU feels your pain".

Heck, what was the score at halftime? was it 9-0 or 12-0. bama's next score was a field goal so we were in the ball game until late, thanks to our defense.

notre dame just got crushed from every angle. LSU at least had defense and special teams. I remember bama posters stating they were still worried at 15-0, expecting our coaching staff on offense to do something and make a change so we could score.

but the announcers made the comparison that we were as bad as ND over and over. Not fair imo. we were embarrassed, but not as bad as nd was embarrassed. 28-0 at half.

We lost 21-0 and Never crossed the 50 yard line!! WTF do you expect??
