Hilarious... Shep likely gets drafted based on intangibles and athleticism. Too bad CC or someone with a little creativity on offense showed up 4 years too late for Shep.
I don't like to pile onto the Shep bash, but I didn't understand the hype he was generating throughout his freshman and sophomore season. Sure he was pretty decent as a freshman, but he was never as fast as people made him out to be. Every time I saw Shep run I was thinking 4.5 and then Mark Barron ran him down from behind and that confirmed it for me.
He had no chance at being a WR, but he could have played RB if he bulked up. People like Darren Thomas, Pat White, and Dennis Dixon are too soft for NFL play at QB and were moreso athletes that played the position. Even if Shep stayed at QB, I don't think it would have did him much better.

The record for most players drafted in a 7 Round NFL Draft is 11, and has been done 3 times:
2009 - USC
2006 - USC
2002 - Miami
You're also forgetting Oklahoma in the 2005 NFL Draft.

Good to know, the site that I got the original info from was wrong.
So, 14 is the highest since the NFL went to 7 rounds in 1994.
Maybe LSU ties it if Ware and Ford get drafted.

When you play Florida and Georgia in the east and every body in the west, the only team we are missing is the Green Bay Packers
I am glad Les said this. It's horseshite that LSU has to play UGA and Florida from the East while A&M and Bama don't play jack shite from the East. This is why there needs to be a playoff. The schedule never works out for LSU. Somehow Bama always gets a pass but the 4 letter network doesn't report that.

This makes me even more pissed off that LSU accomplished nothing compared to these other programs with the same amount of guys drafted.
No one else feels this way?
An SEC title
A chick fil a loss
Come on, that's shitty

Think Faulk could have played himself into the first round next year had he stayed?
Posted on 3/27/13 at 10:49 pm to kjntgr
Well I agree. However, we are in the toughest division in college football history.
Not to mention we were served a turd sandwich.
Just imagine if we were allowed to play Oklahoma state for the title 2 years ago.
We would be exactly where bama is and maybe more so. No way were they going to let that happen.

That's a pretty fricked up way to say the man can't catch.
