After 11 consecutive victory's against LSU, Jerry Stovall leads LSU to a victory over the Bear and Bama. That LSU team was much better than it's final record. One helluve defense!!! And a couple of very special freshman runningbacks in Dalton Hilliard and Garry James.

I started watching LSU at age six in 1974. I was fourteen when we finally beat Bama. That cemented my hatred of Bama at a young age.

I remember listening to that miserable game on the radio.
