Like the guy posted above. You can't play the team A beat team B and so that means...

Bama beat OM, OM beat Florida, so why didn't Bama beat Florida last night??

exactly right, you cant compare teams who have lost and won during the regular season......florida deserves to be where they are, bad game against ole miss and came back and are in the title

Besides, OM got better as the season progressed. Some teams get better, and some get worse. I believe today's OM team would beat WF by 10-14 pts, and that's hard for me to say.

Well...the SEC only filled 8 of their 10 bowl slots this year. The ACC had no problem with those teams except Florida and Alabama...which the SEC also had trouble with.

Didn't Ole Miss finish 4th in the SEC? Wake Forest took care of them.
We took care of your #3 team in UGA.
Vanderbilt (#5 in the SEC) lost to two different ACC teams...one of which cannot ever win in the ACC (Duke...Duke...unbelievable!).
Clemson took care of SEC #6 which is South Carolina.

10 ACC teams are going bowling this year.

Heck...I am going by your SEC standings...I am not making this up.

The ACC only played one of your four weaker teams (Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas, and Miss. St.) and we beat Miss. St.

So...did we not face a representative sample of this years best in the SEC?

...and btw...the SEC did not even face the ACC's best this year....VaTech and Boston College.

Come on...you have to give some credit to this years head to head.

Do you really expect to get 10/12 teams bowl eligible every year?

Look I like to tout the ACC when it happens, but there's a differance. In the SEC there were the elite teams, good teams, ok teams and bad teams. It's because they had teams that were 12-1 that there were teams that had more losses.

In the acc there were no elite teams. not that doesn't mean they were crap, but the acc had a lot of good teams, but no great ones. there weren't any acc teams good enough to go 12-1 ...

If the ACC had anyone win that many times, they would have forced the 7th loss of other teams causing less bowl eligible teams. The ACC having more parity doesn't really have a place in this argument.

One reason that this is going to happen is we have had rest and our Defense will have something to prove. It is our seniors last shot before the draft and GA Tech will have to pass the ball. They will be stuffed by the run D of LSU and our offense will come out hard and strong. The hat holds nothing back this game and lets the offense go. LSU WINS BIG!!!!

BS Georgia Tech runs, literally runs all over LSU. They will rush for 200 yards. The Malveto "Swiss Cheese" scheme will not work. No way we can play the option.

frick all these no faith motherfrickers on the rant, all they do is fricking hate on lsu and the coaches, players and play calling. if all these motherfrickers were so good, then why the frick arent they on the sidelines, reality says shite, doesnt mean shite, it is a matter of who shows up on gameday, and IMO it is LSU, i dont ever say LSU will lose, if it happens frick it, it happens, if we when hell yeah, i dont play the negativity game or the "im an e-hero and will look at stats and statistics, if that were the case we should have lost to bama by 40, frick all the bandwagon and negative lsu fricks out there...frick em all.

Thanks Coach Malveto

I've seen both teams multiple times this season (LSU alum, GT current student) and I think GT takes this

I wish LSU would win, but I don't think the LSU offense puts up that many points and the defense won't slow down GT

GA Tech has 3 big wins, GA, Fla St. and that is about it, other than that, POWDER PUFF TEAMS........

Hmmmm, by powder puff teams, you mean teams like:

App. State (I-AA or FCS or whatever they call it now and a team that has already been defeated in their playoffs)
North Texas (1-11)
Auburn (5-7 and coach resigns)
Miss St. (4-8 and coach resigns)
South Carolina (7-5 with only one quality win)
Tulane (2-10)
Troy (Sun Belt Champ and a team who should have beat LSU if they had the slightest clue about clock management)?

Yeah, LSU is a beast this year.

Unless in an ironic twist of fate, LSU is 100% uninspired to play and could care less less about this game, just like the Canes did 4 years ago in the same building against us -- thus starting the Canes on their final downward spiral. They say history has a way have balancing out. I hope not in this case.

I would think that the SEC pride would kick in....particularly in front of a packed dome. It is not like going to the blue turf to play in the snow in front of 15,000 people.
