It is extremely difficult to watch. I was at LSU 79-82, and can remember the deaf dome being packed for Houston hours before game time, and students camping out over night, and Domino's sending out free pizza. Mike coming down out of the roof, it was crazy. It's a far cry from that now.

'77-81' here. Those were the days, roundball rivaled football at that time under Dale. The PMAC will be back, with TJ or without him. LSU will be a power in roundball again, no excuse not to be.

It always amazes me the stupidity about the basketball program.

Just to show you how far basketball has sunk since Brady left there use to be rants on here wanting to fire Brady when he was second in SEC and playing with 5 scholarship players.

Now we are second worse in the SEC and people are rationalizing how good Trent is.

But the most stupid is how Brady "pissed" on Josh...

God the stupidity

Basically, he would mock Josh by calling him "Pistol", berate scholarship players if Josh made a play on them, and he played all of the seniors on senior night (including completely useless walk-on Paul Wolfert) except Josh.

Not to defend Brady in any way, but I know people who have told me that Josh brought a lot of grief upon himself w/ his own attitude.

Don't know who is right, but with M. White being sold as the savior last year, I'm not optomistic about Hamilton or O'Bryant coming in and turning this team around.

So because White isn't a great player Hamilton and O'Bryant can't be great players? Rant logic at its finest.

Losing isn't good, but losing by 1, with the ball in your hands (sort of) in the final possession is sure as shite better than losing by 38.

No it's not.

Yeah, what the hell, give him another year or so & he'll win 5 or 6 SEC games, maybe.

LSU is already a forgotten team in Basketball..

Happy to see you writing them off already. I love the rantards that would rather be proven right about a coach being bad than having our program succeed.

Like you yapping about Miles? Naw, it's just very sad. No more Deaf Dome.

Someone needs to buy it a headstone..

I've been a Miles supporter since he's arrived. You can spend your night looking to prove otherwise by looking up my posting history. So wrong again dumbfrick.

The Deaf Dome has been dead for a really long time unfortunately. You're the only one that thinks it was kicking during Brady's tenure.

Well you said "no more Deaf Dome" with the finality that it just stopped being raucous when in actuality it has been this way for quite some time. It's always amazing to me how the most disgruntled, miserable human beings are the old men on this site.

Like I couldn't have guessed this would be your response.

The season is lost. It's over. It's not going anywhere. So when we stop losing by thirty and start being somewhat competitive, it's a sign of positive progress that can be used to save a shred of optimism for next season. But you're old and a malcontent so what would you know about that.

If Miles loses to Bama by 1 to 3 points, "There's always next year" ?

I also knew that you would think the two were analogous. They're not. Losing a game in football is dire. Losing a game in basketball doesn't matter at all. Like I said, this season is over and has been for quite some time. So at this point it's the small things that you have to look for if you want to find something to hope for in the future. In the case of LSU basketball, losing at this point by thirty or by one is a difference.
