LSU basketball camp memories

I went to the LSU basketball camp in the early 90's for three years when I was 12-14 years old. It was the only overnight camp I ever did and had 3-4 of my closest friends there each time also.
Staying in the dorms, eating at the cafeteria, and having just enough money to split pizza at nights and raid vending machines was fun at that age. Shaq driving his girlfriend's tiny compact car and stopping to talk to campers, his goofy younger brother being on my team one year (Jamal I think?), and getting to play in the PMAC for the accumulating 'all leagues' game were some highlights.
Not sure if the setup is still the same these days but those were definitely some good times.

I was there during the Brady era but sounds pretty much the same. I think it was actually his first season. I don't think anyone go to play in the PMAC.

I played in Brady's camp in summer of 03 with Baby, Tyrus, Taz, Garret, Charles Thomas, Perry Stevenson, David Gomez. The 5 on 5 camp tournament was in the PMAC.
The All-Star camp team played the LSU team, also in the PMAC (dmitch, Jaime Lloreda, Antonio hudson, etc.) and beat them at the buzzer with a half court garrett temple shot. I know, cool story bro

I went to Dale's camp from 79-82. Two of the bigger names attending camp back then were Johnny Jones and Derrick Taylor. Those were REALLY fun times and I really loved that camp. Met a lot of players from other BR high schools.
ETA: I don't know what happened to Jones' shot when he got to LSU, but he could fill it up in high school. much better competition and a lot more pressure, I suppose.

Was there around the same time. Chris Jackson & Shaq were in the house.

LSU baseball camp in early 90s. Stayed at the Hilton by ourselves, pizza every night, one player assigned to a floor. I remember Sirotka, Ogea, Byrd and my friend shitting in the hotel room sink.
