Exactly. It's so damned hard to get to Omaha. And to win in Omaha is even harder/unpredictable.
That said... season ticket holder since 1996 here. I know I'm a bandwagoner.
I called our shot to win it all in 2009 and 2023.
But I also called it in 2003, 2014 and 2015. oops
Nobody ever knows how the season will turn out.
Our job as fans is to be in Alex Box and be loud.

The reality is that we're replacing quite a bit of run production and weekend innings on the mound. It's really TBD. Not that I don't like this team, but I still have a lot more questions than answers. I don't have any question about Jay leading this program beyond this season, regardless.
