best unis go to Irvines unis with Royal Blue, Virginia when they aren't wearing orange, Minnesota and Ohio States hats, thats all i got right now, but those are good unis.

I agree 100%. These uniforms are a disgrace to LSU athletics. They look like they're from Wal-Mart.
The font is horrible, the cap doesn't go with the jersey, which doesn't go with the pants.

Just to clarify for those of you who don't get it.
The gold tops AREN'T the problem. The problem is the cheap looking font, the overall cut of the jerseys, the material, and just the way it doesn't flow with the cap or pants.
It literally looks like a jersey that Wal-Mart sells that is officially liscensed but just barely. One of those "off" jerseys that are like $24.99 at Wal-Mart instead of the decent replicas that you see in the mall for $65.
Why don't our uniforms have the Geaux font? What the frick is that generic "TIGERS" font? It has no flow with the LSU athletic program.

Have to say...Rice's are major league with the Majestic...I could go with a different font...but they are very sharp uniforms.

I swear, Oregon has at least 6 different uni combos for every one of their athletic teams.

I know next year New Era won't be doing the caps. Switching to Nike for those.

It's not the manufacturer. I sold what I thought were nice looking uniforms to LSU during Skip's days and fairly ugly uniforms during Smoke's days. Same company, but Smoke had his tastes, and Canevari had his tastes.

No since they are in Tennessee, I cant agree. I would say Athletix that makes the Adidas College jerseysout of Kosciusko, MS is a decent brand for High Schools.

The head equipment manager guy Stringfellow talked about this very subject last year in my sports marketing class. LSU is a "Nike" school, but the baseball team is still under an old contract with russell athletics for the uni's.
The contract will expire either this coming year or the next, and then the team WILL be wearing Nike uni's. In the new contract with Nike, the team will have the option to use Nike bats and other equip, but if the technology is still not up to par, the team will have the option to still use easton or whatever brand until the Nike bats are legit.
