The Ale House in the Vista along w/ Wild Wing Cafe are both good joints and kind of an older crowd.

Also, Wild Hare Sports Bar is a good spot - it's got a decent patio.

Five Points is going to be a bit crazy - The Vista is usually a bit more laid back.

Liberty is a good spot too...

Well, since I'm already here, since I live here, I'll tell you what I'm doing if anyone wants to get together. Taking off tomorrow, so plan to have a light lunch at Carolina Wings and Rib House on Gervais in the Vista. Then, we are going to head out to Platinum Plus for a couple hours. Back home to shower. Dinner Wild Wing in the Vista about 8:00p, then we will hit most of the major spots in the Vista. I have 3 buddies coming in from Baton Rouge tonight, and that's our plans. Anyone want to join.....let me know.

All decent spots in 5 Points. Locals is probably my favorite out the bunch. 5 Points is going to be crazy though, so my 32-year-old self will be in the Vista. I don't need to feel any older than I already do.

Which bar are all of the LSU fans taking over and setting up at in Columbia?

In 2003, all of the LSU fans gathered at Crocodile Rocks. I'm not sure if it's still there because I haven't been to Columbia since then.

5 points is pretty low-class. If you want to fight with frat-boys and kids puking in the bathroom then head to 5 points. I would go to the Vista. Carolina Ale House is the new spot w/ rooftop bar and restaurant. Wild Wing Cafe is usually pretty good. Liberty Tap room is the 25-35 crowd. Always a lot of beautiful Carolina girls in there.

Sounds like our over 30 arses will check out Liberty and Carolina Ale House. How is the weather? Looks like a front moving through, then getting cooler Saturday.
