LSU-Auburn has emerged as the most intriguing and consequential game of the young season

After just two weeks, there is one game this coming Saturday that has emerged as the most intriguing and consequential of the young college football season.
There are surprisingly few teams that have beyond a doubt demonstrated their dominance. If you wish to be a stickler about it, then such a team, after just two games, would have to had accomplished some combination of defeating another highly regarded team and of so badly walloping an obviously inferior opponent that it glows in the dark. Otherwise, to borrow a phrase from a former secretary of defense, we don’t know what we don’t know.
So throw out No. 11 Penn State (2-0): The Nittany Lions may have routed Pitt, 51-6, at Heinz Field on Saturday, but just a week earlier, they barely survived Appalachian State at home. No. 5 Oklahoma (2-0) may have handled U.C.L.A., 49-21, on Saturday, but because the Bruins also lost the previous week, to Cincinnati, it is not clear how impressed we should be. Both victims of No. 6 Wisconsin (2-0) were from lower-tier conferences. Even No. 1 Alabama (2-0) arguably hasn’t played anybody.
quote:
No, next week’s undeniable heavyweight matchup will take place Saturday afternoon, on The Plains of eastern Alabama, where No. 7 Auburn (2-0) will host No. 12 Louisiana State (2-0) in both teams’ first Southeastern Conference game of the season.
Both Tigers have burned brighter than practically any other team. Each has a persuasive victory over another well-regarded team at a neutral site as well as a demolition of a weaker team at home.
quote:
But this year, L.S.U has looked at least as good. It opened its season with a dominant 33-17 win over Miami (1-1), then ranked eighth and currently 21st, at AT&T Stadium. L.S.U. followed up this past Saturday at home with a 31-0 win over Southeastern Louisiana.
quote:
The annual Auburn-L.S.U. game — Tigers East versus Tigers West? — has stood out recently. Two years ago, it was Miles’s final game on the sideline, after a go-ahead touchdown as time expired was overturned in part because of a late snap.

Two Tigers to Meet in College Football 2018’s Biggest Game Yet

Please at least find some new pictures to go with your propaganda posts I get really tired of looking at that same dumb picture of Ed O stretching every day

I agree that this is the most intriguing and consequential SEC game so far this season
But it is obvious the author of that article did not watch the LSU SLU game.

I do wish to be a stickler. About how crappy this sentence is written by the NY times.

to go with your propaganda posts
You think a NY Times article picking LSU's game this weekend as the biggest of the season to date is propaganda?
Man there are some dumb LSU fans bumbling/waddling/trudging among us.

Ree,
I’ve asked before but you didn’t answer.
Do you take your mouth off of Os jock when you post, or do you keep sucking him off as you type?
Are his nuts in your mouth right now?

That is what comes to your mind when you see one of my posts?
That's kind of strange. Nothing wrong with it I guess, if you are into that kind of thing.
There's another poster on this board you should see about hooking up with. He said last week that he thinks about the Texas Tech bell ringer every time he sees a picture of Eaux.
Ya'll should hit it off really well.

They aren't just saying the biggest for the SEC. The NY Times is picking it as the biggest game in college football so far this season.
They are picking it over #4 Ohio St vs 15/14 TCU in Arlington and the other big games Aub/Washingtion, LSU/Miami, etc that have been played.
If Hotlips could beat Maryland and USC would have beaten Stanford that would have been a big game for this weekend.

Quite trashy for a representative of the LSU propaganda department to be posting in a public forum.
Maybe it'll get you canned.

That is what comes to ALL OF OUR MINDS when we see your posts.
I don't think anyone disagrees with your posts....and the content is ok too. It is that you come off as the world's biggest fanboy with your material...like you are a 12 year old girl obsessed with Justin Bieber or something.
And no, we don't think the NY Times is propaganda; we think your posts come off as propaganda-like. As if someone from LSU has been sent here to make us all cheery and blissful about LSU football. And it is annoying as frick.
And when you refer to him as "Coach Eaux", that just adds to it.

You have a weird obsession with Herman and his kissing thing. I think maybe you wish Oeaux would give you a big ole wet kiss every day when you show up to do his bidding at the football ops building. Admit it.

That nickname came from a Texas fan on Shaggy Bevo.
They probably think much more highly of him after the 28-21 beat-down of Tulsa this past weekend. When Texas gets to the talent level of Tulsa that score will be much worse.
