Do LSU admins fail more frequently than other schools? Ok I get it that LSU makes money. LSU has a well placed system through taf. Could this be infallible if admins allow coaches to underachieve? I guess Texas is where we could be in all three big sports . So as they lose they still bring in money. Screw the fans players and who cares if you win as long as you bring in money.

First, the general rantard opinion was that our football program is self sustainable to the point that any coach could do what Les Miles has done in his tenure here, and now, the assertion you're making is that we have an athletic department like Texas that will bring in money no matter how bad/good our programs are and no matter for how long.

I believe the attendance at UT events is sending a message:
Football:
Rice 86,458
California 91,568
Ok State 87,073
K State 88,283
Kansas 92,529 -- lots of free tix given away.. I had 2 in the mail and wouldn't go.
Texas Tech 94,299

Their stadium holds 102,000+ and I'll bet there were plenty of OK State and Texas Tech fans there which may have inflated the ticket numbers. I also hear it will be worse next year for ticket sales from my Austin friends.

our admins most definitely fail at raising money for the university. always have and probably always will. sadly there are not enough people in Louisiana that care enough about education to actually give them a little money. and the state damn sure doesn't care about education and never has.
