Mettenberg came down to LSU or Texas A&M and he decided on us.

My boss just came in my office and told me that he heard on the radio that Mett has officially committed to LSU. No link yet.

I really don't think the Aggies were confident they were really in the running.

No I don't have a link, I heard from a friend, and it is on Dandy Don and a bunch of threads on here

We all assumed that this was a given three weeks ago.

Mett wouldn't have started at A&M his first year. Tannehill will be a SR next year.
I think Mett comes in and starts for 3 years for the Tigers. Plus, I think that the offense will be designed around him.
We have 3 QBs who will be RS Freshmen or True Freshman who all are a different breed than Mett. They are all dual threats.
Mett is strictly a pocket gunner. It was quite obvious that LSU fit him the best and I think he preferred the SEC over the Big 12 anyway.
Congrats on a great pickup, and best of luck in 2011.
