It's called catastrophe syndrome. LSU message board fans are eaten up with it. They're terminally miserable and can't stand it if others aren't also miserable human beings.
I think it's fun though and the board would be boring without the psychotic idiots.

I keep checking back every so often to see if there's a groundswell to rally and support this team, but am disappointed every time. Are there any patriots left in this foxhole who are at least willing to join the rally call? For Christ's sake, it's a team, a college, a football game, not actual life or death. Winning and losing happens in an instant, then it's a memory. Pulling for your team team never ends and is a lot of fun if you can handle the fact that we might lose.

Thanks for the bump, bro, but it's useless. This thread was anchored by the 3rd page. Apparently more than one ranter found a call for positive dialogue to be offensive.
