J.J. Seip is the grandfather on one of my consultants.
I think I've posted in several of these threads, and I'd love to help you out tigger, but I don't know how much there is I can do. My grandmother used to have the photographs, but I've never seen them in person and she's in an old folks home. For my part I'm up in Washington DC for law school which has been a full time project.

What info do you have on Gandy?? My moms side is full of Gandy's, but most are from Mississippi.

I Macphisto, I have talked to your grandmother the last two weekends and she has given me many stories and I was able to tell her somethings she didn't know.
She and I talked about Bill, Gandy and Doc, who she all knew well and we talked about Hilman, Thomas, the Smith brothers and Noblet.

Also we talked in length on the 1907 football and the case it is in, I will have LSU put on file where the case came form; as no one had that imformation.

Marshall H. Gandy is from Negreet Louisiana and went to a very small school there, before going to LSU.
