Boy the events over the last few days have been instructive

The Les Miles LETS FIRE HIM folks. I see Mr Kiffein and he was the the 4th choice of USC.

We see today that TENN got denied by a 3 million a year contract by a asst Coach at Texas : and it appears the Coach of The Air Force Academy said no. MY GOD A COACH OF A SERVICE ACADEMY SAYING NO TO THE SEC

One thing that this has showed us. The Les Miles haters assure us that that we can get the best Coach to replace Miles. Yet in two major programs we have not seen that to be true.

But thats ok because the Les Miles haters will turn on the new Coach and because the nega tigers who do so many posts we will forget to call them on it.

I think the OP has a valid point. It wouldn't be as easy to replace CLM as is commonly assumed.

I'd bet good money we wouldn't get our first choice, and maybe not even our second.

Just saying is all.

Cutcliff? Yeah they guy Ole Miss fired so they could hire Bebe? I understand he's turned Duke into a real powerhouse. You like 5-7 seasons?

Given up on del Rio?

I guess it's true. Smoking that shite will destroy a brain.

so do you think our fourth or 5th choice wouldn't be an upgrade?

of course del rio is my top choice, you know me better than that. and yes, i do think cutcliff is a better coach than miles. he's produced better offenses and specifically better qb's. get a good d-coordinator in there and his hiring isn't as bad as you tards think it is.

After watching the coaching searches and the media circuses around the USC and an Tennessee hires, I'm not at all sure.

If ever there was a cautionary tale to learn by, that is it.

why is it funny? you really think les miles is a better coach than the 4th or 5th guy on our list right now? the man is the worst game manager in all of cfb.

We could certainly find someone who could manage a football game and put the team in a position to win. Knowing how/when to call timeout would be an enormous upgrade.

Our current coach does not have the BASIC requirements for the head coaching postion.

And who's to say the next hire might not turn out like Lane Kiffen?

I'm not defending him per se, but I am saying as bad as things are now, they could rapidly get worse.

Worse???? Jezzus H Christ, did you watch the Ole Miss game? We're a naional punchline.

When it is obvious that there is a major problem, you've got to have the balls to fix it. You don't just do nothing because you might make another mistake.

In all of cfb? Every one? There is not ONE coach worse? Anywhere? How do you know? Have you made a detailed study of every coach's game, play by play?
Man this is truly inane.

Worse would be to hire a Lane Kiffen type who leaves us at the worst possible time and screws up the program for years to come.

that kind of mindset is what has set LSU back for years. we settled for bufoons as coaches because we either wanted to save money or were content to be mediocre. if we're gonna stick with miles because we're scared no one out there is better then this program is in for some dark days.

Wrong. Kiffin improved that team and left the roster with more talent on it than it had before.

I watched Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo coach at LSU.

Les is far from the worst we could do.
