Fair, but he gets to see the same guys over and over so there is some familiarity, but it was nice to see in those stats

You literally just copied my post and added Thompson. You could at least quote me if you are just going to pawn my post off as your own.

Braswell isn't going anywhere either. His defense is too good, he's fast, & we don't have anyone else. He could hit .150 & he would still start every game in the 9 hole.

I'm not sure that's totally true. I don't think he'll hit .150, and I do expect him to be the everyday shortstop barring injury. But this year's lineup isn't like last year's and can't afford to have a position player hitting being a black hole in the lineup, no matter how good his defense. If Braswell is giving us nothing at the plate, they'll move Milam to short, Pearson to 2nd, and put another bat in the OF. Assuming Milam is hitting, obviously.

Like I said, I don't expect that to happen. I think Braswell will wind up having a nice year at the plate, and Jay will give him plenty of time to figure it out. Especially since they've changed his swing/approach. But there is a world where he hits his way out of the lineup.

From watching Fall to Spring development he appeared to make the biggest jump. Time will tell if he gets overmatched by elite SEC arms.

I have a feeling that Milam is going to be a staple in this lineup.

I think he’s going to bring a lot of energy to the lineup. Also, love that he’s a switch hitter.
