Linebackers. Your Assessment.

Was it the gameplan, youth, substitutions, or just me?

I expected this to be the strength of the D to start the year, and they kinda seemed a little confused and scattered.

I know we didn't run many(any?) blitz packages, so there were a lot of spies and coverage, I just expected some more explosive plays from that group.

Your thoughts?

Incomplete. It wasn't a great offense for assessing the linebackers.

I thought it was a combination of the things you mentioned. TCU's style doesn't lend itself to much from the opposing LBers. Welter looked lost at times, but had us in the right call.

What ever happen to Luke Muncie? Seemed he played good against UW last year. Maybe move someone over from the outside position. I'm sure corrections will be made.

I want to see Beckwith in there. Didn't see much of him.

Difficult to assess after one game.
