I've followed college football for nearly 50 years, and never have I seen the dynamic that exist's between LSU and Alabama currently.

It's an almost impossible obstacle for LSU to overcome. Saban leaves for tNFL, no biggie most of us expected that. Best of luck Nick.

What LSU didn't expect, was for him to 'quit' on tNFL so soon as he did and then come back to one of the few programs that could challenge us at the time.

Saban's a great coach, and tough to beat. But even tougher to beat when the guy has 5 year's of Louisiana recruiting connections as well to work with against his former college program.

I sincerely hope this doesn't sound like excuses, or sour grapes, or whatever adjective you may want to label it as.

But it's tough enough to beat the motherfricker status quo or all things being equal, much less expect to hang with him given all his inherent advantages vs especially LSU.

All I'm saying is Les is only down 1 game to this 'legend' who started his trip at LSU, of all places.

I say to Les Miles, you've acquitted yourself quite well vs this 'legend' you replaced at LSU.

Their is still History to be written about.

I know people hate all the alabama talk/obsession, but seriously...

A win over them and instantly crashing the SECSECSEC title train would be fricking sweet.
