Does he need to run more? Clearly, but c'mon man, dead last in the SEC is not because your QB isn't running enough.

Daniels covered up a deficiency, but if we have to rely on our QB to make our run game go, something is seriously wrong with the OL, coaching, play calling or all 3.

Or, maybe to be successful in today's game, you need a QB who can do both effectively?

But if you have a QB who won't run, and Nuss won't more than can't.....you can't have plays that call for his running as an option. And yes, we do run more RPO than read option, but we do still run some read option and you basically have 9 people blocking 11 as the QB is not a threat that demands keeping one person assigned to him. That's part of scheming and planning better for the run game.
