There is always room to improve in anything anyone does. Maybe you should try to post something positive that the man does and people will be less critical.

Yeah the famous rantard braintrust. All that coaching expertise. That's kind of like worms telling an eagle how to fly.

You're kinda getting in on the tail end here so you get some slack....I've given the man credit for what's he done.....excuse if I don't feel a burning desire to grovel at his feet.

Aaahhhh the mental midget crawls out from under his rock tonight.....I know Gray....it's tough being on your knees all day. But keep up the good fight my man.
You're one of those fools who actually does believe CLM is perfect.

Nice grammar champ. I told you to stop trying to act intelligent. It doesn't suit you.
To the point, I side more with him than you. And the post of his was clearly not made with a clear mind.
And just as I predicted, you post is all insults and no substance. It's because you don't have a leg to stand on.
And all of your giant wall of words is you making excuses for your never ending bitch fest regarding Miles. Do you not get tired of it? It's probably because we all know what the RTR in your name actually stands for. I give you props for trolling the rant for this long.

It is amazingly fitting you responded to your own post with this. Bravo.

I'll give you guys credit for one thing, you do march step well together.
Please don't lecture me on name calling.....you've mastered the art.
Now that I think about it, you and good ol Timmy are a good fit for each other . Most nights, you make about as much sense as he does.
I see you conveniently avoided my question about getting better at your chosen profession. That's answers the question as to whether you work or not.....should have figured.
I'll ask you a question you've asked me before, did u even go to LSU?

Of course I went to LSU. There's a reason I don't post in a fashion that resembles a third grader talking trash at recess. And I ignored your "substance" because it's preposterous. Are you honestly going to sit here and try to say Les is just OK with the status quo and doesn't try to do better every year? Is that why he gets rid of coordinators, benches players, etc? Do you realize how hard it is to take you seriously?
Posted on 4/27/14 at 9:59 pm to LNCHBOX
Of course he makes changes...but many are reactive instead of the alternative. Does one really have to sit and watch an entire year of "Malveto" to see it doesn't work? Or 4 entire quarters of one of the most anticipated NC games ever without so much as considering a different course of action?

quote:Not to mention the "communication problems" JJ and CLM have had with play calling. So Jamarcus doesn't have trouble getting plays, Flynn doesn't have trouble getting plays, Mett doesn't have trouble getting pays, JL well.... hes had trouble with a lot of things, but not getting plays? not that I know of. Seems JJ is alone on this one. In any case, if JJ or JL didn't play like they were in pop warner in 2011/2012 against Bama, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.
Also, think about this for a moment... almost all of those horrible moments that Les has been ragged for took place with Jordan Jefferson on the field. I think that JJ was the perfect practice QB but was a horrible performer who figured that it was better to overthrow a wide open WR deep than to risk a pick. This made him the worst passing QB that I have ever seen at a powerhouse type of football program. Now there are a couple of other moments without JJ but the main body of griping material was with him under center.
]

And I am sorry, but I still think Bama players looked kind of strange after the NC game in 2012.

You realize the two examples you're using are a year where our defense couldn't stay off the field due to a freshman QB turning the ball over a million times, and the other one was the championship game. These are your "worst" offenses.
And who make changes that aren't reactive? It's really easy to sit here with the benefit of hindsight and act like you know anything.

Let me sum up this entire idiotic topic for all of you. Les Miles is not as good as some think nor is he as bad some think. He is a great recruiter and a good football coach. Very few have been great at both in the entire history of college football. Lets save the Les ball licking and bashing for the season and talk baseball or something we can actually watch these days.
Posted on 4/28/14 at 6:48 am to jwill37
Yea, Les is just "good." 9 years in the best division of college football and an approx. 80% winning percentage is just "good."
ETA: No one forced you to read or post in this thread btw.

He's trying to be diplomatic and is actually pretty spot on. What's wrong LNCH? Is "good" not good enough for you man?

No, 80% in this division of this conference over the last 9 years isn't just good. Are you ever going to actually respond to anything btw? I notice you ignore a lot of comments because they aren't exactly easy for you to respond to.

so you would have fired them mid-year? WTF would that have accomplished?

Which posts specifically are you referring to sir?
I'm multi-tasking today and don't have time to scroll back.

Oh I see, so sitting with you thumb up your azz while Rome burns is a more viable and productive option.

Do something....anything...step in and take the reins....by mid-season it would have been well past the point of worrying about stepping on toes or hurting feelings.
