Les should sit down and explain this blunder to his team

I have seen tons of threads saying what Miles should and should not do, who he owes an explanation too and who he doesn't blah blah blah.
One thing is for certain though. While he did "lose" his bonus for not winning the game, he can get it back next year. Unfortunately for Will Blackwell, JLee, T-Bob, JJ, BTaylor, and all of the other seniors, that opportunity is gone. They will never have the chance to play for another National Championship in college. Their last opportunity was ruined by Miles' inability to make a coherent game plan and make adjustments in game. That is what is so incredibly upsetting as a fan. Miles owes it to his team to do his best for 40 days to come up with a plan that gives his team the best chance to win, and he showed up Monday with that dog-shite plan. Embarrassing.
People think Bobby Hebert is hurting the program with his comments recently? Ha. Talk to a senior and see what they think. Most of these kids are ready to get out of LSU and move on, because lots of their time here has been wasted.

You dont think they thought they had the best game plan to win?
What is that going to accomplish?
What is that going to accomplish?

Nothing says wasted like a 42-12 record, the national spotlight, an sec championship and a shot at a national title...
But for our 5 year seniors who were red shirted -they should get thier money back having to waste their time getting a 55-14 record, two SEC titles, a BSC title, even more national exposure, opportunities at the NFL level and another shot at a BCS title.
Damn Miles for wasting thier time....

Great. That is amazing. But it doesn't exclude them from being frustrated with how they were coached at times.
Being successful most of the time is fine and dandy, but you're saying that a player cannot be upset with other times in the program?

It would be nice for an outgoing guy to know why his last game was a complete disaster. As it sits now, you have lots of guys leaving with a bitter, bitter taste in their mouth from Miles. Do you think that is a good thing?
RS is thinking about going pro almost exclusively because of this game. Who wants to come back after something like that?

MILES GAVE THE PLAN A LOT WANTED THAT PLAN = J J J J THE WHOLE GAME JJ'S GAME TO WIN OR LOSE , JJ TRYING TO RUN THE OPTION , JJ AND THE SUTTLE PASS , JJ WITH HIS GREAT LEGS THAT HELP OUR OFFENSE, JJ AND HIS PASSING GAME , . Miles gave us JJ did you enjoy JJ ? I laughed , because if you have read my post , Miles did what i said he would do, with JJ we lose

Ohhh.
LSU is a national leader in players going to the NFL.
You suggest wins aren't a factor, and undoubtedly further success after developing here doesn't matter. What do you think we owe the 50 or so recruited Seniors and Juniors on the team.
Do we rotate like in 4 year old soccer. Do we not play talented Soph and FR.
What exactly is this great injustice that people perceive?

Ohh, ok. So our players should be happy with 42-12. They should settle for that because it is so great? These guys came here to get the greatest coaching possible, to compete for SEC and national championships year in and year out in their mind. Aside from the defensive guys, not one offensive player was "coached up" and excelled. We have the #1 WR in the country on this team and the #1 Dual threat QB, but both are contemplating leaving early because they do not want to be around this staff any longer. It has done them NO good.

No. Im saying that he didn't waste anyone's time like the OP claims he did.

There is no doubt that LSU is sending some impressive defensive players to the NFL, and that was on display Monday night.
However, what was also on display Monday night was the most putrid display of offense in decades. How many guys on our offense look like they are getting any better? How many guys on offense looked like they were put in the best situation to win on Monday night?
Do you expect the players to start making their own game plans? Should they override every terrible call that comes in from the sideline for their own? Of course not. They do what they are told, and on Monday it looked like they were told that crossing the 50-yard line would result in the loss of a limb.

If the offensive guys cannot start with the o-line not being able to get a push on the line for the running game or pass protect better on 3rd down, then they don't need an explanation. Miles and Blackwell explained that everything was predicated on the run. Smart explained they were not prepared for what LSU showed them. So, they had a different game plan, it was just a bad plan.
It's time to move on.

I think they know why. They got beat up and down the field in every phase of the game.
Yall are basing a lot on what the rant is saying and not facts. Who knows if RS is really thinking about going. Who knows if lee was really in the game plan.

I would imagine they've had a team meeting already.

Randle? They guy can't wait to leave LSU because of all of that great coaching.
Blackwell sure seem like he was happy with Miles in his post-game interviews. LMAO.
Copeland is a good one.
The rest are freshman or sophs. How much coaching have they really had yet. That being said, I do expect Wilson to improve the RBs each year.
Perhaps I should not have said "not one offensive" player. Rather, most of them have been put in poor situations. Some have excelled despite that. Some have been coached very well. Those are the minority (RBs).
