Agreed Louisville was second biggest win. Beating the sec west champs probably a good win.

We shall see the skins O adds to that this year. I didn't want O, but I don't have an agenda against him, and dgaf about ole Miss, like you guys. I care about lsu. So far he has done ok, needs to take next step.

I wouldn't have either if we hadn't seen some of the same mistakes or if the losses were anomalies or the outliers, but that's just not the case. That's why I'm skeptical, but can also see the off season positives that make me cautiously optimistic.

“He went 6-6”

He took over a program that hadn’t had a winning season since 2013. Coach O took over a program that I hadn’t had a losing season since 1999.

If you don’t see the vast difference between the LSU football program of 2017 and the Texas football program of 2017, I’m sorry for you.

Wait. Are suggesting a guy with an MBA can grasp context? The arse clown in question has shown no such capacity.

Lmao. The fact you shite on a 6-2 record in the sec is unfricking real. I guess Alabama shouldn't count their wins this year either, the best win they had in the regular season was lsu right?

You guys are truly pathetic with your negativity and hate.

Lsu is going to kick arse this year, and I don't want to see your sorry asses up in the threads suddenly praising the guy. I bet you are a fkn miserable loser in life. No way someone with an Outlook on life like you is anything but that. Most of these losers on here are trolls, but again, sadly, you arent

Lmmfao. He has never won shite, just like O. His only year ever coaching a power 5 team he went 6-6...but he is a proven winner. Lmgdmfao.

Comparing the career coaching accomplishments between Orgeron and Herman greatly favors the younger Texas coach.

As an offensive coordinator... Herman turned Rice into a top 10 offense nationally. Went to Iowa St and ran one of the schools most successful offenses ever while breaking several school records. Then, he moved on to Ohio St where he ran an offense ranked 2nd in the nation and won a national title with backup Qb's.

He's a Broyles Award winner which is given to the top assistant coach in college football.

He was highly successful starting his head coaching career at Houston and went 22-4 over 2 seasons.

In terms of actually accomplishing real results it's just foolish to even compare the two coaches.

Stephen...I'm not gonna sit here and brag about what I have and what I have accomplished in life. Frankly, I don't give a shite what you think. You seem to be fascinated by an MBA. It really isn't that big of a deal. The CPA exam was much much more difficult to pass. Clearly, you can't comprehend that.

Oh, and as far as context. The context I get is that talent matters at lsu, but doesn't matter at UT because they hadn't been winning...so he rode those top ten classes to a 6-6 finish and that was huge.

Ok, let’s just assume last season wasn’t objectively a step forward for Texas, just to make you happy.

Herman has still accomplished far more as a coach, assistant, head or otherwise, than Orgeron.

Can you provide us with O’s accomplishments as a coordinator, just as a basis for comparison? Thanks.

Outstanding. He went 22-4 in the American athletic conference. Then went 7-6 at Texas. In three years he has 4 good wins, although the way lsu beat the shite out of louisville I don't know I count that really...for O either.

Let's see what Texas does this year under him. He has the talent. Let's see what O does this year at lsu. He has the talent. I believe O did the better job in 2017.

LSU was left in a much greater position to succeed then Texas. Texas was a dumpster fire and Herman took them to a bowl game and dick slapped an SEC team. Herman wouldn’t have lost to Troy

Herman was a good OC. It remains to be seen if he will be a good P5 head coach.

O hasn't accomplished shite either as a head coach. This year will tell the tale.

The legend of Herman is growing as we speak. Holy shite he has 4 good wins, period.

Yep, 4 good wins (I haven't taken the time to see what teams Herman has defeated as a head coach) in 3 seasons as a head coach. Nothing to brag about.

Now let's take a look at o's coaching resume, shitbird. If and when you do, and if you're honest with yourself, you'll say, holy shite, he has 3 good wins, period.

One against Stanford, while he was the interim head coach at USC, which was by far his best. One against Louisville in a bowl game. And one against a 4 loss Auburn team. That's it. Period!

And if you were to take into account the fact that o has 4 seasons as a true head coach, and 2 partial seasons as an interim head coach, only 3 quality wins is downright embarrassing.

Especially when you realize that o spent time as an interim or a full time head coach in 6 different seasons compared to Herman's 3 seasons.
