And you do?

Are you the same guy who told me when looking at Archer's final 2 yrs that a losing record and a losing record equated to an upward trend?

You also stated that going from 7th in the SEC and unranked to 3rd in SEC and nationally ranked was of no real significance.

With those two gems to your credit, perhaps you shouldn't speak to what others know or don't know, but carry on with your attack on the LSU football program.

You must've been really pissed off when LSU won the NC in '07
Not pissed off at all, but I am smart enough to realize that team won the NC inspite of the coach not because of him.

Not a bad year for JJ, for 1st yr starting.

The program is in the worst state it's been in since the offseason between 1999 and 2000. It's not just Ryan Perrilloux being gone that's the problem, it's the whole team, across the board. It's the weakest it's been in 10 years.

We've had excellent classes and things should get back to normal. If they don't, you'll realize your dream of Miles' demise.
It's a win-win for you, so no use to keep bitchin. It's bad for Tiger Karma

We're already there. And it didn't take long.

Incorrect. The w/l records and final standings simply do not bear that out.

Its not a win-win for him because he doesnt have the want to see Miles succeed. He'd rather be able to say "i told you so".

And I might be the first to congratulate him for his excellent predictive skills- after the yet unforseen dismissal of The LSU Football Coach.

Until then, Geaux Tigers, Geaux Miles!

Because to cheer for the Tigers is to hope for Miles' success. To root against Miles is to
hope against The Tiger's success.
I can't see it any other way.

Root as you like, but know to root for his leaving might mean you rooted for a Crystal winning coach to be replaced by an unproven commodity. I know there's a limit on unproductivity, but wouldn't you think 2 or even 3 years is a rush to judgement considering the infrequency of MNCs landing in your trophy case.
Perspective
There are likely more than a few Vol Fans wondering "what have we done" wanting Phat back, after trading him in on "new and exciting" coaching. I agree his time had come and think Dooley will make a nice fit, but Crystal winner?.IDK

Amazing. The PosiMiles engage in the usual:

* equating criticism of Miles to failure to support LSU. Coaches come and go, LSU remains.
* cherry-picking one opinion to quote - the other three were pretty critical

Les reminds me of Archer. A nice guy but a mediocre coach on a down-slope.

Can't find that one of Archer, I know it's on web someplace?

Gary Crowton is the next Lou Tepper...both came in here bragging about all they could do. Their heaed coach supported them and within two to three years all four are gone! Sad but true...Les can get the job done, but he needs a new OC!

Amen. Miles' five year record is still better than saban's. p.s. saban is winning with Shula's players and the miami dolphins are still losing with saban's players. hehehe

I said 4-7 to 5-6 represented just as much improvement as 8-5 to 9-4.

Yes, that was 10 years ago.

Find one positive thing for'10 and dwell on that.

The most positive thing about LSU football right now is that a large percentage of fans (and hopefully big money boosters) are tired of Les Miles.
quote:

dream of Miles' demise.

I don't give a shite about Miles' fate. All I want is for LSU to be as good as possible.

We've had excellent classes and things should get back to normal.

A team down by 2 with a minute to go and having the ball inside FG range SHOULD manage to get off a FG attempt before the game ends. A team with a series of excellent classes SHOULD have better than the 112th best offense in the country. A team with 5-year cumulative recruiting rankings in the top 4 or 5 in the country SHOULD do better than .500 in the SEC over a two-year period and mange to finish at least in the top 15 in one of those years and in the top 25 in both. But under this staff, what SHOULD happen frequently doesn't.

Again your arse speaks for you. Nothing could be further from the truth. I guarantee you if we go 5-7 next year, it won't be me coming back to find threads like this to bump. I leave that kind of childish behavior to the likes of you. I want LSU to succeed no matter who our coach is. I don't expect it under Miles. One of these days the sunshine pumpers like you will learn the difference between hope and prediction. Until then, just keep hoping for your own death and the deaths of everyone you know...unless you think you and they will live forever. Of all the ridiculously idiotic things you people say, this is probably the most idiotic.
