Meh...LSU student section started that mess with getting his cell phone number. I'm perfectly okay with him taunting the student section.

Are all coach's shows around the country this shitty?

I've listened to coaches shows from L.A. (John McKay and Tommy Prothro!) to Jim Tressel in Columbus, and yes, most of 'em pretty bland. What do you expect from a commercial radio station featuring a representative of a city's major educational institution? It's not exactly Monday Night Raw.

That was just an example. I mean what if any opposing player taunted the crowd after a touchdown, or a big gain, or a huge sack. Or doing something along the lines of a Mr. Damon Duval a few years back.

I'm not saying it's wrong one way or the other, but it is hypocritical.

What did y'all expect Miles to say about Crowton? "frick Gary Crowton...he's not capable of quality play-calling. He doesn't look forward to competing. I hate the bastard."

Booing your own player when he's trying his best is wrong. Booing an opposing player when he's being an arrogant a-hole is okay. I said earlier that booing a college kid is okay ONLY when it's warranted. How's that hypocritical?

Booing Brandon Spikes is all and well.

Booing the only qb we might possibly have for Saturday, besides Russell "Joe Namath" Shepard? Silly.

I know you did and I didn't mean my previous post to attack you. All of these LSU fans that say you should NEVER, under any circumstances, boo a college athlete are hypocrites in my opinion.

If the counter that argument with something like, "You should never boo a LSU player. Those opposing teams are taunting the fanbase, etc." Well, what about when a LSU player makes a moronic, bonehead play (ex: Tyson Jackson's karate chop on the Kentucky quarterback or Rahim Alem's kicking the ball into the stands during the Arkansas game)? Is it acceptable to boo then?

Miles calling out Crowton would be more like this:

"certainly there is a want to, uh, shite can Gary."

This is pathetic. "Gary Crowton does a great job"! What!?!?

Seriously do you really expect him to bash his OC on his radio show. Have you gone full retard?
Could be Miles' marketing strategy. Make Crowton attractive to some other team and maybe we unload without a big stink. I say if it takes stink, then STINK! Crowton could become Miles' OC Lou Tepper.

let me guess at Mile's comments...

this team has character
this team has a tremendous "want"
we'd like to get Kelvin Shepard (oops, Freudian slip), Russell
This team has character
this team has a tremendous "want"
Shepard some more touches.
We're a little nicked
We had a good go
This team has great character
There is want in this team

He actually looked very relaxed and was laughing alot. I liked how he told the guy in Mississippi to protect his LSU flag like the man "I know you are."

No, I don't expect Miles to call out any of his coaches. It just ticks me off when he sounds completely oblivious to something so obvious. Don't say something so completely false when everyone knows better. Most people will agree our offense sucks. Improve our offense and we would be undefeated right now and ranked #1 - NOT hoping/praying for the Capital One Bowl!!!

For once, I'd just like our HC to tell it like it is. Miles sounds like he's a politician in training.

You'd be relaxed and laughing if you had his buyout too. He has no pressure. We can't win a title and if we get 1 out of last 3 games we're better than last year.

Not a bad point. Les has no stress, to be honest. Sure, he has football STRESS, but he's well off and yes, we've improved already from last year.

The very first thing Miles said tonight after being introduced and congratulated on the win was how close the Latech game was and how it shouldn't have been that competitive.
