What is the point? Are you suggesting that it's okay to lose big games as long as you don't get shutout, or do you just not like the fact that even the best coaches make mistakes and lose games

The rage, embarrassment and associated criticism would be far far less has LSU even shown up and tried to compete in that game. It was a debacle, an embarrassment on the highest stage. The reason people are enraged isn't the loss, it's the fact that the potential problems had been identified long ago by almost everyone and still came to pass. It wasn't losing. It was how horrible LSU actually played in this game and the poor decision making that contributed to it.

Why is it so hard for some people to understand that losing is part of the game, but doing it like we did shouldnt be. Especially not with the qb we had on the sidelines. Thats the part that scares me the most. Ive honestly never been glad to see a player leave until this year. And the sad thing is, it wasnt even his fault he sucked.

And most fans could have told you how that gameplan would turn out. Im a Miles fan still, was before he came, but damn whats he been smoking.

let it go man. we lost the damn game. I don't give a shite if we lost 21-0 or 9-6. on second thought, 21-0 is better. can you imagine how the rant would disect every play if the game was as close as the first and we lost. it would be worst.

Do you really not understand that?

You do understand that CLM will be the coach here for years to come. If you are really that upset about that fact you really should consider abandoning being a fan of LSU footbal until such time as he is not the coach.

The constant complaining, wether valid or not, does not help anyone in anyway. While venting once in a while can be therapeutic for the ventor...commentary full of hate serves no one.

It is all "part of the game," and who says that a team "shouldn't" lose in some particular way. How much longer must some of you "should" on Miles before we get to appreciate some of the successes and begin looking forward to more?

Patrick......really? It's all about if you win and how you lose. If you don't get that then I don't know what to tell you.

Miles is smarter than people give him credit. He was forced to play his best QB as a freshman and the pick sixes caused the team "not" to fully support him. Along comes JJ [not a good QB] and has a good bowl game. This gets JJ the support of the team. Miles understands that he has no choice but to stick with JJ. When JJ was suspended the players had "no choice" but to support Lee. Had Miles left JJ suspended he would likely have taken the BCS Trophy to Baton R.

How many games did LSU lose that Lee started this year?
How many games did Lee start that JJ was not suspended?
It should not take a "Rocket Sceintest" to figure out what was going on---the coaches did not change---only the circumstances.

Agree. Im not refering to the coaches when I say team. Hell I wouldnt even put all the coaches in on it. Obviously Miles is the one.

After today, I'm officially over Jan 9th. He might have not said exactly what everybody wants to hear, but he manned up and help a press conference to address the past couple weeks and looking forward to the future. The press didn't exactly beat around the bush either. The Jordan Jefferson saga is over with, and I think Miles knows he and the coaching staff made some mistakes that they feel confident they will correct. He thinks we're going to have a great run next year, so I guess that's good enough for me. You gotta let go sometime..

Anyone who watched the first Alabama game, and the first half of the Western Kentucky, Arkansas, and Georgia games, knows we had a serious problem on offense. Our formula was to: (1) have our D get takeaways and (2) have our O Line wear down the opponent's D Line. This formula works against everyone---except Bama.
