Again, the only thing or person you are a fan of is Nick Saban.

Nothing wrong with being a Saban fan. He is one hell of a coach.

Saban teaches perfection, and he expects perfection. Yeah, he might be an a-hole and maybe not a family man, but gets his JOB done.

It is if you are pretending that you are more of an LSU fan than a fan of Nick Saban, when that's not really the case.

Nobody is arguing that the past 2 years were excellent football. That doesn't change the fact that your undying support for Saban is very real.

The fact that Miles has done bad the last two years has nothing to do with Saban. I think YOU are the one in love with uncle Nick. I think you miss him terribly.

When I say you are confused, this is typical of what I'm talking about.

Your problem is that you are afraid to admit the ship is taking on water, so you go to extreme's to try to bolster your position. The ship is neither sailing safely, nor is it completely sunk. But it is in danger and taking on water.

I seriously doubt anyone is afraid to admit we have taken on water. EVERY ship is danger of taking on water so no revelation there.

The way the team looked in getting to that 9-4 record is a telling signal that many football pundits, 'experts', and of course other teams fans have noticed as well

I think that some breaks didn't go our way and Les wasn't prepared to win the Ole Miss game at the end. Sometimes you just have to know it's football, ( Bammer blocks UT's field goal, If that's LSU we're flagged for the player removing helmet and it's Les's fault). All I'm saying is 9-4 is just that you can't complain we won ugly.

WHAT HE'S DOING NOW. What don't you get about that?

Ok, so what's he doing now? I think he's preparing the team to have the best season they can have in 2010. If the past is the past, let it go and cheer for the Tigers in 2010.

If Les doesn't earn his money this year then we'll just have to hope the AD can do his job. I don't have confidence he will. My fear is not Les, he's proven he can win and recruit, my fear is a complete mis handling of hiring a new coach.

So just because I don't like the results from Miles, I am not an LSU fan????????????? You are becoming more stupid by the day. Sprocket.

It means you are more of a fan of Saban than anything. Any fandom by you of LSU is second to your fandom of Saban.

I didn't make it that way. You did. You've been suffering from mental health issues since Christmas 2004.

No it doesn't.

Yes it bothered me when he left, But I understood he wanted to live his dream. At the same time LSU lost a great coach.

He fricked up his dream hahaha. Anyway, why do you guys lie about being more Saban fans than LSU fans? It's obvious, why the hell would you even bring him into discussions if this weren't true?

He quit, left, split, whatever so we're still LSU. Get over Saban and talk about something relevant to our program (other than supporting our rival)

Yeah, it pretty much does. You are just in denial.

PJ, you better polish your bowling ball. Tell the Dollar General management crew to be ready. Me and Choctaw are coming to take all your money.

I don't know. You fell head over heels for Saban and haven't fallen out of love yet with him.

But, you are still in depression about it. Your position has routinely been that Miles is not a good coach because he's not like Saban. That if he would just be more like Saban, you'd be a fan of his.

Since Saban is no longer at LSU, you no longer are enthusiastic about LSU football. There may have been a time before Saban when you were an LSU fan but Saban changed all of that. You became a bigger Saban fan than of LSU.

No, it doesn't, that water can be 'bailed out'. It's taking on water, it can be saved, it has not gone down YET, but if somebody doesn't sound the alarm, it will.

Im not going to argue with you about what the definition of "sinking" is....go look it up.

quote:

he's a damn softy and feel good coach. This will be his demise IMO.

He's gotten rid of coaches before...he'll do it again. But i agree...Crowton and Stud should have been fired. But they weren't so i'll root for them to return to their '07 form.

quote:

So far Miles has recruited 3 QB's, none of whom are SEC caliber, an Ivy League transfer who should never have even been on the field, and a bad character guy. His batting average on QB's is ZERO. When you fail by betting on a kid one time, you get a pass, when you fail FOUR TIMES on four different kids, you fail.

Are you saying he shouldn't have recruited RP or that he shouldn't have kicked him off the team?? Yea...that would've went over real well. Lets pass on the #1 QB in H.S. thats in our own backyard. Hatch would've always been a backup had RP stayed but Miles was forced to start him. JJ has started one year with a shitty o-line (due to attrition)...how 'bout we wait before calling him a failure.

quote:

I have never, ever once said this and never will. It cheapens our NC. We won it fair and square and I am very proud of it.

Well good...many here cant seem to acknowledge any positives when it comes to Miles.

Im not saying Miles is perfect or he's the greatest coach ever or even the best coach in the SEC....and i can admit that he's f'd up. So has every coach. But you don't accomplish what he has by being a shitty coach...and his accomplishments far outweigh the mistakes, IMO.

PJ, I understand how your mental state could prevent you from acknowledging that I don't think Miles is the premier coach in football.

I understand how someone with your below average IQ could definitely think I thought he was the premier coach in college football when suggesting he shouldn't be fired right now.

The only reason there was any misunderstanding was based on your inability to have successful reading comprehension skills.

None of this changes the fact that you care more about Saban than about LSU.

You don't want Miles here period. You want someone you believe in, that person is Saban.
