How many coaches can take a program that is successful and sustain that success....
Before you answer that question.. Consider any College program successful under one coach and then look at that success of that program under the subsequent coach...
I completely agree that Saban helped create momentum for the LSU Football program... But I can assure maintaining that momentum overtime is a different but equally ( and arguably more...) challenging task.

Whats harder to do? Have 2 great recruiting classes or have 8 good ones. What harder to do? Win 13 games once or average 10 wins for a decade?

You just gave the Negatigers a loaded gun by verifying that Miles would rather lose a game, than make a change. Miles knew what he had in Flynn (blew out a top rated Miami team in the bowl game) yet left JR in until we lost the game. Probably cost us another BCS championship.
