You do realize even the highest paid coaches have down years right? There isnt program in cfb that doesnt have down years. We lost over 3000 yards of offense at just the wr and rb position. Anyone that didnt think we were gonna take a step back is dumb.also, if lsu wins out we would have won 9 games while playing in the hardest division in cfb. In the last 5 years there are only 4 teams in all of cfb to win at least 9 games. AND LSU IS ONE OF THEM. Nebraskan bama lsu and Oregon. Winning 9 games isn't automatic especially in the sec west.

it's not like our new WRs and current RB stable are scrubs. we replaced proven elite players with guys that have elite potential and a QB with plenty of time in the system to be serviceable.

Bret Bielema----$3.2 Million
Malzahn---------$3.85 Million
Mullen-----------$2.65 Million
Guess which one has a winning record vs Les Miles?
Guess which one got a Championship pay bump?
So you want to talk about Les's salary fine, but don't do it in a vacuums of his achievements, and the coaching market.

yea, OP wants to cherry pick all these feel good stats. they're nice and all, but when you have a guy IN YOUR DIVISION who is not only matching those stats, but exceeding them at the expense of your program, it isn't impressive at all.
