It’s not about his record but about the tendencies and characteristics of the tenure.

Failure to address issues your kid could identify. Weird stubborn roster management decisions when it comes to personnel that feel inexplicable without some sort of unknown off-field context.

In-game coaching a perpetual shite show. Stubborn & wrong more than half the time. Reactive. When we win it’s in spite of coaching, never because of it.

Leslie’s problem was that he was just good enough to think he could win without changing.

Kelly’s problem is that he was just good enough to convince us that he could win.

Maybe we should try hiring a coach with a man’s name next time.

This is more Gerry Dinardo. A few decent seasons but the wheels are coming off from bad coordinator hires.

4th year and this program is regressing.

By Miles' 4th year he won a NC. And while he did have a short regression in Year 4, that 8-5 regression was followed by 5 years of good football.

Yes, the 2011 NC was a mess, but he still responded in Years 5-9 of his tenure with no worse than a 5-3 SEC record.

But even in 2015, when Miles was surely going to be fired, he still hit a 10-3 mark, something we would kill for under Kelly at this point.
