No i'm saying that Alabama doesn't get credit for beating a very good Clemson team just because they were ranked #9 when Bama beat them.

Saban is a very good coach, you won't get a argument from me there, he will have y'all in the hunt every year now that he's starting to get his brand of players in the system.

What crack do you smoke? The 2005 defense only allowed 185 points and the 2006 defense only allowed 164 points, only ten more points than our 2003 defense did.

not blowin Saban's horn, but his defense doesn't let Fla. offense move the ball at will, also. let's be fair.

Ok, let's be fair. Saban is 2-5 as an SEC Coach against Florida.

Miles is 2-2 against Florida as an SEC Coach, both losses to UF were to National Champship teams.

For example, be honest now... we throw long against AU with about 10 seconds left on the clock. Byrd makes the catch, place goes wild. But, let's say he doesn't make the catch, all of sudden, there is no time left on the clock for a sure fg.

That was Flynn's fault, not Miles. Flynn took way too much time.

BS, the ball hit Byrd with 4 seconds left. If the pass is not caught there are still going to be 2 or 1 second left. Plenty of time for a FG.

I think he made a fair statement, if you think Pelini's defenses were as dominant as Saban/Muschamp defenses I would say your the one hitting the crack pipe. Pelini's defenses stats were inflated anyways because of the weaker Div 2 schools they dominated, but the D1, SEC schools moved the ball all over the place on them, they didn't dictate what a offense did against them like Saban/Muscahamp defenses did.

2002: UF (on the road at UF)
2003: auburn, UGA in regular season, UGA in SECCG

2007: VT, OSU

you really are a fricking tool.

2005: Auburn, @ #3 Alabama (west on the line), top 10 Miami 40-3
2006: @ #8 Tenn., @ #3 Arkansas, ND
2007: VT, UF, Auburn, Bama (West on the line), SECCG, and OSU (NC game)

you don't think those were big games?
2007: VT, UF,

nobody said the D was great on 2001 LSU. we just had an insane offense by the end of the year. saban realized his D was shite, and we adjusted as the year went on to rely on our offense, and it led to a 3-loss year in which we beat the 2nd best team in the country to win the SEC and then won the sugar

when miles was faced with a team that had a shaky D (2008), in response he limited the offense, which caused our team to get embarassed as the regular season ended (Troy, Ole Miss, Arky)

You asshat. We had a proven qb in 2001, there was none last year. Should Miles have just turned Lee loose last year? When the kid knew about half the playbook? Jesus you get more stupid every time you post.

Only one Saban defense allowed fewer points than the 2005 and 2006 squads.

You need to get off the crack pipe.

I don't know what league The Citadel and Western Illinois are in but they can't be any stronger than Appy State.

In 2005:
Florida - 206 yards
Alabama - 284 yards
Miami - 153 yards

2006:
Auburn - 182 yards
Florida - 288 yards
Kentucky - 227 yards
Tenn - 248 yards
ND- 291 yards

2007:
MSU - 146 yards
VT- 149 yards
USC- 261 yards
UF- 314 yards

we padded those stats against some good teams

UF could have put 100 on us in 2001. They gave up 44 at home while having a great QB

LSU's 2005 and 2006 defense> every Saban defense outside of 2003

So, you'd rather a team "look" better points wise, than actually Win?

How is 9-41 really better than 21-51?
